Battletrap looks great.

Originally I was against the two separate bot modes, however they have managed to do it without compromising the combined mode so I'm happy. They get their extra sales by selling them separately and I get my non-triple changer duocon.

I cannot wait for Flywheels! I think he is the more popular of the two Duocons, so hopefully Hasbro can execute the design as well as this.

 

This is turning out to be my favorite line since RID 2001

 

Oh shoot, you're right, the Minicon ports were "Powerlinx ports".

Similar idea, but not one that has always been done with that name.

 

Wonder how Battletrap will look with the green gun of Voyager Springer

 

I was thinking of grouping Battletrap with Micronus & Liege Maximo personally but Voyager Springer's gun should work as long as Battletrap's joints are tight.

 

I like the mistransform. Battletrap is so generic-looking without the distinctive rotor blade placement and his weapon. The mistransform still leaves an ugly gap between the backpack and the back but it beats my earlier idea of pulling out the rotor and blutacking it in the "correct" position lol.

 

Battletrap is a thing of beauty.

Tailgate actually makes the Windcharger mold actually look good. O_O

 

I want more like this, repaints ...whatever. more please.

 

Now Hasbro is impressing me. This is the kind of extra mile I expect of third parties.

 

Found a better mistransformation for the back that also locks together and isn’t any thicker than the standard transformation.

He’s actually a lot greyer than photos look. Here he is against a white sheet of paper.

I'd prefer if they redo them as Rollbar and Powerdive.
Gets us an extra Throttlebot and a Rotorforce guy.
They can redo Flywheels as Warpath and...
