Is that the first Optimus Primal sighting in IDW? (2nd page, 3rd panel.) I don't follow all the books, so I don't know if he's shown up before.
We saw a gorilla as part of Onyx's forces in last year's TF Annual, and that might have also been him.
Primal showed up in robot mode in Optimus Prime #10. We only saw a third of his body, but the head was unmistakably him.
Spoiler I feel like this PV heavily implies that Onyx and his followers are working with Unicron. Or, MoF seems to think so. But that eye is big enough to make me wonder... whose is that? Since Onyx sent his Titan to Eukaris. Still, he's probably after entropy.
Did you not read the TAAO annual? Starscream decides to fulfill his destiny as the “Choosen One” and unite Cybertron against him by confessing to all his crimes so that Windblade could win the election. Scoop never did anything inherently wrong, so it makes sense he was let go.
Maybe he is meant to be black, but he appears blue. Or, black wouldn’t be a good choice for this aesthetic. So they changed his coloring.
