I think it's less of a relationship and more along the lines of not stepping on each others' feet (yet). They just don't really compete against each other. That will change either when NJPW concentrates on expanding in the US or WWE decides that they really want the Japanese market.

NJPWs owner said thast he will keep paying guys, like Jericho, to come boost the product "until the other side saysbLets Get Along" Take that as you will.

I saw this on Reddit and a few sites earlier in the week. Source is unfortunately sportskeeda, but it's just translating Kidanis interview

WWE/NJPW News: NJPW owner comments on working with WWE

It would be nice if WWE would work with NJPW as sort of a partnership.

Each brand working together. Boosting each other's talent in foreign markets.

I think it would be great to see the "Balor Club" have a one off match against the "The Bullet Club" of Omega and the Young Bucks.

Unless that's a Duke Drose reference I missed, what makes you say that?

Because that weasel John Laurinaitis will be on. That scumbag was the absolute worst person (and my most hated) in WWE history and when he ran both RAW and SmackDown it was absolute Hell.

I hope Ambrose comes back just so Shield can Triple Powerbomb him through the announce table!

I know it won't matter to most...but...I read Austin Aries returned to TNA...at the recent tapings...as well as hearing that new management has dropped the six-sided ring in favor of the traditional ring...and...they are in negotiations to bring in Rey Mysterio (not too impressed by that...unless he uses his popularity to gain needed attention for the company)...also, the wife of Rich Swann, Su Yung, is coming in as well...

It will suck, especially if they do what they usually do and bring back the legends and shot on them by "putting over" the young "talents".

I read that Rey was actually close to signing with Impact.
Besides, WWE already has Kalisto, who is supposed to be Rey for the current generation...at least, that's what WWE hoped. His solo push went over like a lead balloon.
Seriously, put the Lucha Dragons back together. More tag teams is always a good thing...

...unless you can't think of anything for them to do, like the Revival. I heard they can't figure out what to do with the Revival now that they're healthy, which explains why they haven't been on TV the last couple weeks. RAW is a frickin' 3 hour show, it seems like it should be easy to fit them in there somewhere. Cut down the ubiquitous too-long show-opening promo and give them a squash match or something to build them up.

And, for me it's actually kind of nostalgic to see Matt Hardy trying out a new solo gimmick (well, in WWE) on a WWE audience; I still have my Matt Hardy V1.0 T-shirt :D
The era of Mattitude has arrived!

"Woken" Matt is such a shell of the whole "Broken" gimmick he created. The fact WWE is focusing on that ridiculous laugh more than anything just shows they do not know how to handle that gimmick properly. Just let Matt have creative control, I have no doubt if they give him the freedom it can be...... WONDERFUUULLLL!!!!!!. Also with Braun they need to shit or get off the pot on a title reign. The whole superhuman, destroy everything, literally pull pieces of the building down, ambulance tipping, is getting a little old now that it really is not leading to anything. If he loses at the Rumble we all know what will happen Monday. He will come out........ Wreak Havoc..........Say some words........then....what? I have actually not been watching RAW and Smack down the last few weeks. Just catching the highlights....what little there are. Got a stockpile NJPW recorded stuff on my DVR to watch.... Thank you Axs channel.

Read an article today that Fox may be interested in purchasing at least the broadcast to WWE if the UFC deal falls through.

I'm not sure if that is good or bad...I mean free TV for the WWE would be good for viewership, and it would force WWE to have 2hour boradcasts at max for all shows with a hard stop at 10pm. But if the UFC deal fails, that is a lot of content WWE would be forced to fill if Fox does indeed go that route. FS1 and FS2 along with the Fox network.

I don't know what would be crazier - WWE on FOX or NJPW on USA.

That was just about the last thing she needed. I hope she doesn't rush off to another company and make things worse trying to keep going in the ring. Take a little time and finally let things really heal up.
