I've noticed the "backpack face" on the head masters loose some details (like the mouth) in other comics. I take it as meaning the larger face isn't currently active so it lacks working eyes/ active facial expressions.

Agreed. I've felt the same for awhile about these comics. They were cute at first, but when they started finding ways to sexualize not only human girls but under-aged human girls, and now a cat girl whose only purpose is clearly furry bait, it's just gotten too weird and in some cases really wrong.

 

Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeew.

What's the name of that line that recently remade some Battle Beasts toys? I'd love if they did a figure for White Lune!  

 

Looking at the toy, it seems her chest area in the Japanese illustration has a flatter plane, but that plane is rendered on a chest that is bigger/further away from her abdomen (basically, a large "busom" with a flatter front), while the us illustration has a smaller chest area, which IMO, looks closer to the toy. Notice also the abdomen (with her groin hinted at) and the accentuated buttocks on display in the Japanese illustration (which reminds me somewhat of the ways US comics have traditionally depicted super heroines, and received criticism for it).

 

Needs more tentacle monsters..

 

The best thing about these comics isn\'t the attention to continuity, the art, the humor, or even the sexy.  It\'s the inevitable arguments and moral posturing that follow in it\'s wake.
Anyhoo, are the target masters using master braces? Looks like it.

Yeah I think the Braces are confirmed equipment.

 

I don't mind Takara having ecchi in their comics as I love ecchi however I'm just not a big fan of furries. I wouldn't mind if it was just an average nekomimi however :3

Apoc gave a translated summary on the wiki. In the final panel, Leo Prime (the Beast Wars II character who is currently operating as a Headmaster) senses the Zamojin. Previous chapters have established that the Zamojin consider the Legends World an experiment out of control; their attempts to destroy it have been repeatedly foiled. The final panel presumably hints at the pack-in story for the upcoming LG62 Targetmaster Windblade.

And yep, Takara previously advertised on the Internet that LG51 Targetmaster Doublecross's Targetmaster Haywire/White Lune could be paired up with LG25 Blurr, á la the 1987 Hasbro toy.
