I kinda wish they still had an optional Prime master feature... Am I the only one?

 

Actually, I think the feet you have on him in your pic make a big difference just by themselves. The shoulders are a bit wide still, but the chest is filled out pretty well by the fists so I dont know if I want to spend 45 bucks on a new chest kit that doesnt do that much more.

I like a lot of the previous PE stuff, but I dont think they need to split up the sets so much. Its starting to seem like a bit too much money to upgrade stuff compared to prices of other 3rd party stuff.

 

Any clue as to what kind of a feature is described as "Transformed into the arms?"

 

Most likely referring to the feet transforming into weapons.

 

I really like the look of both sets. I hope they do a red dino set and silver too. Seem perfect for Botcon Predacus and Magnaboss.

 

It kinda seems like grimlock has new arms or at least new combiner ports...

 

If the Volcanicus knuckle guards were red, that set would be perfect for Predacus. I'm getting these for Predacus either way. If I had to guess, I'll bet we see the Volcanicus feet in purple for Abominus and the Starscream ones in black or maroon/red/whatever for Elita and Inferno.

The hands/feet I\'ll have to see if the hasbro version doesn\'t do it for me.  Little has changed from the earlier versions of this set they\'ve cranked out, and they were just okay.   The other set catches my eye though.

 

Is it really too hard to just take the feet from the voyagers and make them bigger?
I'd like that better. Especially if they keep the Enigma/Prime Master slot.
Oh well, guess I'll just wait and see if somebody else does that.

Yeah, seems he has a backpack that maybe locks the arms in a different configuration and has new combiner ports. It's an interesting idea if done correctly.

 

Depending on how the arms get oriented, the original shoulder ports might be sticking off the back - put a couple Swoops back there and have a double wing thing going

OMG look... they gave Volcanicus a
cockpit.

 

So as far as I know, we're just now seeing PC-23: PERFECT EFFECT PC-23 (Upgrade parts for POTP Dinobots/Volcanicus)
(It gives you what every Dinobot combiner needs... a cockpit.
I mean this quite literally.)

Uh there is more remolding in Grimlock than I thought. Now Volcanicus is starting to look right, although the combiner head seems too small with the bulkier torso and feet.
