Well, Sunstreaker was part of a Unite Warriors combiner team from Takara (UW-05, Convoy Grand Prime) so it's possible they deliver an IDW version of that combiner to stand opposite a Menasor. They could get a lot of mileage out of that set, since the Hound Jeep could be a variant of their Bazooka jeep from Bruticus, the Mirage mold would double as Drag Strip, and Ironhide could be re-used for a Ratchet, with Convoy done as a possible reworking of their Motormaster, which could be a variation of the War Giant Commander core bot.

Impressive work from the factory of iron. In terms of transformation engineering, absolutely their most accomplished figures to date.

    Whoah, those look really nice.

These were off my radar, but I may have to reconsider.

So I have seen a few reviews of them and I like what Im seeing, now Im not a Legends collector and I only have a few Hasbro Legends on my shelf but these guys look like fun to take just about any where and mess with so I was curious are they worth the $65 price tag?

I got mine for $55 shipped off ebay... I feel they are at least worth that.

I admit I was feeling jaded after purchasing the Armored Tactical Staff, but I had a much better experience with these guys. Maybe all the extra accessories sweetened the deal.

You didn't think the Datsuns had enough accessories?

I don't really collect Legends class figures, but I received these two for Christmas. I absolutely love them. They're just a ton of fun to play with. Swipe comes with his jetpack (FINALLY!), pile drivers, rocket launchers and big ass gun.
Sunny comes with an extra face, his gun and two hand laser guns.
Super happy I have these two.

Welcome to the party. There's a lot of awesome legends class stuff from third parties out there.

Yes. They honestly make the mps look inferior in some respects. Two of IF's best releases to date.

They are impressive, but I was a bit surprised at how small they were. I guess I've gotten used to the MFT and 2nd Gen DX9 Legends/Scout figures so much that these were stunningly tiny when I took them out of the package. I haven't put them side-by-side yet, but in my head, they look to be about the same height as PotP Windcharger. I suppose they'll suffice until something larger and more G1 comes along.

Tip for anyone swapping Sunstreaker's head, be careful when tightening the screw.
I managed to crack the top of the back head plate by making the screw a little too tight.

It's still fine, the crack is not very visible, but I figured I should warn folks. It really took very little pressure to crack the back plate.

No. I just like Sunstreaker and Sideswipe as characters more than Prowl, Smokescreen and Bluestreak.

I also don't collect legends, or maybe didn't.....

These two are phenomenal really, I've said it a few times recently but I'm quite blown away by whats being accomplished in this scale now.
