Picked up these guys in SoCal. Thank you brick seek.  

 

Did I read somewhere that wave 2+ figures will be harder to find because they use the same DPCI code as the first wave? Or am I wrong? I'd like to find Unicronus when he comes out.

 

Just picked these up at the Target in Braintree, Ma. They only had one of each.

 

Brick seek no longer lists quantity. Right now there is only one wave available, so when it goes from out to in stock you know what is there. When wave 2 releases you will only see that the size class is in stock, not necessarily that inventory increased if they got an additional wave in if they already had wave 1 on the pegs.

 

Well then I guess it depends on if the wave 1 ends up self warming then getting wave 2 may be more challenging.

 

DPCI's are usually per assortment/sizeclass, not waves, so no you're not wrong. Easiest way to tell if the newest wave is in is by timing. If you're area hasn't restocked in a while, check brickseek or zoolert by DPCI. Once it shows up in stock, either call to check or stop by the store to see if the figure you want is in.

Sucks but unfortunately individual figures in the waves do not have their own unique DPCI number.

 

all the targets in bakersfield ca have ONE box each of these (one optimus and one rodimus per box). picked up optimus prime and left rodimus at the east hills target. rest of the targets should have both as of today.

 

Whoever put the flame stickers on Rodimus trailer section needs to be taken outside and beaten half to death.

North Canton Ohio Target was the only one who'd sell them to me. It was a bit of a trek and a hassle, but they had them.

There were 2 left when I left.

If this is the future of Leader Class, count me in because there's some really thoughtful design in here and you can tell they actually cared about this line.

 

I hope they will have Unicronus for sale in the next month or so.

 

I found the transformers prower of the primes leader class Optimus prime and Rodimus at a Target in San Antonio Texas, US.

 

Yea if it's walmart they sure can. But Kmart TRU and pretty much anywhere else it's 30 day limit so if they don't sell them in 28 days they are golden. I always see auctions running for long time now though. Like 30 days or so nothing like when I sold on ebay back in early 00s. Stupid step mother screwed that pooch up when I bet to her i could make a job out of it and she couldn't stand loosing so she sabotaged me. I'll probably start up ebay at some point again now that I'm not under her roof.

 

Been trying to get my local Target to sell me these toys, but they're being a pain about it. It didn't used to be that hard to get good help there, but my experience with Targets all over lately is that they're not the store they used to be.

 

Yeah I give up on it. My experience is they don't want customers asking for products. They just say check back in a few days when it'll appear on the shelves. Zero effort to see if it's sitting in the back. With like a bunch of employees standing around joking they debated right in front of me whether or not to tell me "No we don't have it" like they were trying to avoid having to look or radio the back or whatever.

 

Try calling and having someone look the 087066020 number up and put them on hold for you.

If you tire of dealing with the bad customer service and can wait a couple weeks you can get them together from BBTS for $104 shipped (economy shipping).

Transformers Power of the Primes Leader Wave 1 Set of 2

 

Some Target employees have gone to the back and looked for me, a few have not. The best thing to do ahead of time, is to check a place like Brickseek. If they show "in stock", or "limited stock", call Target, ask for electronics then ask the team member there to look up the through DPCI.

If they cannot find the item, like if brickseek shows "limited stock" there might be a reason why, I'll copy and paste what I posted in a sightings thread earlier. I experienced this last year and I think it may help some of you going forward. A reset at Target may be planned for the 7th and some stores so a soft rollout leading to that, which is why some stores have these on shelves while some don't. Best of luck and be patient:

 

Anyone with Rodimus Prime able to confirm something for me? When transforming the smaller Hot Rod into vehicle mode tabbing the roof in took some effort, and when it was all said and done I had made some decent stress marks under the spoiler. Anyone else run into this issue?

 

If you’re meaning tabbing the back section underneath the spoiler into the legs, they need to be angled and then sort of twisted into place. Watch some of the video reviews to see an example. I wouldn’t recommend man handling anything made with today’s Hasbro plastics.
