FOOL! This is the thread for the gallery of a MASTER OF METALIKATO!!!

Picked up Bludgeon here a little while back and decided to give him a photoshoot as a break from all the Titans Return galleries I've done recently. Enjoy!

(Thank you Simon Furman for making Bludgeon prominent in the comics so he keeps getting new toys!)

This cements it in my head that, if when we actually get a voyager Bludgeon toy in the Generations line, his retool should be Tarn. I'd say Titans Return 2.0 would be the perfect place for both of them - they could have a third mode of a ground emplacement ala deluxe Darkmount/Skullgrun, and you could incorporate a better, more articulated version of Galvatron's flip-up helmet to allow for Bludgeon's samurai helemt AND Tarn's mask. Maybe it could open from the back on Bludgeon and from the front on Tarn? So many possibilities.

No please no more unwanted kiddie gimmicks...no flip up masks, and making everybody a headmaster. I like the POTP gimmick cause I can chug it in my parts box.

I have him waiting on a preorder...really surprised he made it into this line but boy does he look good. This has me excited to see how the upcoming prime master shell will look alongside him.

    Great pics!

So they made a toy of him and he wasn\'t even in the show. *sigh* Oh, what, is Bludgeon too hardcore for Rid\'s \"lol random\" tone?

Well, yes, but that\'s besides the point.

Does this mean Bludgeon is FINALLY hitting the shelves? I feel like he was supposed to be out by July, and that never happened...

I want him so bad, it's so stupid it took an entire year for them to release him. I was worried he was going to be in release purgatory being so late.

Don't know why the article is pretending (ha) that this mold was meant for Bludgeon when Blastwave was actually in the show. That's about as moronic as saying P:RiD Hotshot is the intended usage of the P:RiD Bumblebee mold.

got him yesterday and it had the right side of the shoulder ratchet piece for the left shoulder, preventing the shoulder to fully click into place when forming the turret. sadly TF toys aren't exchangeable in TRU MY so probably gonna try if i can fix that myself _ ( :'3JL)

Titans Return wouldn't have been half as enjoyable to me if the headmasters weren't line wide. I'm looking forward to the play system's inevitable return after Power of the Primes is done.

Man, that Revenge of the Fallen Bludgeon is one of my favorite figs.

How come Hasbro keeps releasing a figure the mold was meant for after the fact. Before TR Astro Train, Octone, Blitzwing, there were Sentinel, Optimus, and Megatron.

POTP Bludgeon is easily one of the best figures of the year, provided you're okay with Cybertronian alt modes.

So glad I got to review him early.

Design wise, the mold clearly resembles Bludgeon. There's not really any question there, it's all based on his different incarnations. Blastwave is a redeco of Bludgeon whichever way round they came.

Blastwave on the show used Megatronus' character model with a new head. So it's not like he's drawing from a consistent design. Based on that, I'd say it's more like the toys came first, then the writers of the show decided to use Blastwave. Or possibly Blastwave was on the show and Hasbro decided to get a toy of him out, but used the closest thing available.
