you see where the dragons lower arms are thinner built before they become bulkier towards the elbows for the dragon beast mode?


might it be possible to completely salvage the set of wings and articulated wing muscles which are the red and black joint work parts attaching the wings to the dragons back?

the basic idea being to mount the wings to the sides of the dragons lower arms (the black joint work multijointed parts(there be black and red parts attaching each set of wings to the dragons back )

the basic idea being to use the multi jointed back parts for each wing to mount the wings to the dragons lower arms (but also to transfer the dragons hands and thinner built portions of the dragons lower arms to where those gold colored bone spurs are growing out of the bottom of the wing sword scabbards.

the simple idea being to mod the dragon arms such that they can double as wings as well

a kind of wyvern like dragon the way the wings are set up

you know like smaug from the lord of the wiings

 

The anxiety of crap like this kills me. There's a lot of potentially fragile parts on something like this and PE might mess it up. I just really don't want this to suck because it looks awesome.

I dig it, mostly. I'm not feel the smiling head. I don't recall much from the period he had this form, but the face isn't landing for me. The rest is fine as interpretations go. We're probably never going to get a better version of this guy.

the idea is to fully salvage the wings and the parts attaching the wings to the dragon back

and use those parts instead to reposition the wings in moutning them to the sides of the dragons lower arms

while at the same time salvaging the lower portion of each dragon lower arm(with the dragon hands still functional at the wrist joints )

these parts of the dragons lower amrs would be transferred to the wing sword scabbards (the wing swords /scabbards attach to the dragons wings by ball socket joint) while the dragoons hands rely on a steel pin reinforced rotating joint ) by mouttning the dragons hands to the wing scabbards it would provde the dragn hands with a double jointed elbow to rotate the dragon hands full in all directions)

while at the same time the newly modified dragon arms /hands could also fully double as wings wiht a greater over all wing span to work with in beast mode

that video of smaug from the hobbit , that be what i am trying to describe with my idea of modifiying the dragon arms to serve double duty as both arms /hands and wings

and the wings could even serve as their own bladed armored weaponry for the dragon to slice and dice his opponents into itty bitty pieces with too.

In other words, you're exploring the possibility of rebuilding him as a wyvern.

 

My Gorira regret runs deep. Part of me wants to ignore this damn thing, and part of me wants to get it to justify hunting down a Gorira.

Loving the look of this. Love my Gorira and also my EVA painted Leonidas (though it's the KO version)
I am furiously trying to resist the urge to buy the red and blue Optimus Prime coloured deco of Gorira.
If PE did a silvery G1 Megatron repaint of this dragon, I may end up caving and getting them both for my OPtimus and Megatron collection!!

I'm not sure about the grinning face on this - it's veered a little too far into cheesy smile territory and away from villainous grin for me. The serious face looks great though!
Hoping we can pose this a little more "hunched forward" in a more traditional dragon-ish pose instead of the upright fully bipedal stance - Megatrons long dragon long neck always looks kind of weird to me when fully extended upright.
But all around, this looks amazing and he and Gorrira may be in my favourite designs at the moment. Which is rare for someone who is generally G1 all the way.

 

a blue cryotek repaint is more likely to go opposite primal prime since they were rivals in their only fiction appearances

 

No doubt we're getting Cryotek. Hoping they also go for an original style Shattered glass TM2 Megs. It would look bitch'n in white with blue wings and black & red accents.

 

I almost think I would prefer this mold as cryotek over megatron, granted I have fans hobby Beast Megatron and am pretty happy with its looks so cryotek from this would allow for variety

 

I don't see preorders for this guy on the US based stores...
