The minicons would be problematic, as many are rather bulky, stock little dudes turning into long, skinny blade-like weapons like swords/spears/etc.

Some would take a good deal of work to do, but I think it's doable.

Looking at these drawings... I swear... This would have probably worked better as more of an Animated Successor than as Prime's sequel. Whenever they put the full series on Netflix, I'll give it a look-see, but it never felt right as a Prime sequel.

That Chop Shop design is pretty neat. Have several bugs form into a bigger bot. Would love to see someone make that....

 

 

I wasn't a big fan of the show so no big lo *Sees Sideswipe* What the hell guys come on!

 

The style was always hit and miss for me, and it’s the same deal here. Starscream’s design in RiD just didn’t feel like that incarnation of the character. Just too bulky. But I love how sharp and angular his power surge mode is. Would definitely buy a toy of that.

 

The toyline will be around til Q3 2018.

 

Here's hoping that there are some great (or any) reveals at Toy Fair then. The only announced things left to be released are two sets of Crash Combiners.

 

The entirety of New Rid , I waited and waited for a figure of CHOPSHOP ... Why Hasbro ? ... Why ?

 

It bums me out that many of these designs will never receive proper toys. Scowl, Chop Shop, Saberhorn, hell even characters like Motormaster and Underbite needed toys that weren\'t tiny or ruined by gimmicks. RiD might just be one of my favourite Transformers shows, even though it\'s far from perfect. It\'s a shame it\'s stuck living in Prime\'s shadow (even though it\'s actually better than Prime in my honest opinion).

 

I was about say same thing he looks more gundam than transformer, and polarclaw he looks to organic in face should be more robotic

HAHAHAHA!!!

 

RID has been very minimal at recent conventions. PotP has been hogging the spotlight and though it's awesome, I need my RID fix.

 

I thought the RID toyline was done? Or maybe it was just the warrior class figures?

 

I hope some of these characters get revisited in the future, in different continuities.
(I'd like a nice Chop Shop toy, thanks)

I'm glad they released all of these though. They're really useful for artists.
