Spamming those above pics, my apologies, I love how they came out.
I'm very stoked to see people chroming and painting the parts that the factory missed out on, or that we'll hopefully get on a later release.
I very nearly sent parts of Leader OP to a company for chroming, but hesitated once I thought about wear during handling..
I'd love to suffer through removing all of MPM OP's pins and screws to get those parts sent in, but I just can't break him down yet. The desire to do a full repaint will only intensify.

I've mentioned countless times of making a color map for him, but it's honestly been the hardest thing to do because I don't know if I want to keep the factory blue or try masking the flames to give him more of a indigo finish. I agree, this guy is just beating with repaint potential, and we've seen it done well more than once. Just want to see an officially handled repaint and support that

If I ever get into repainting Transformers (I do have an airbrush I've never touched) and I get practiced enough, I'd love to repaint this guy. But I'm such a stickler for detail that I know his flames would drive me bonkers lol

There you go again with the signature evolution! Love it!

Somebody mastered making flame stencils for spray painting ROTF Optimus Prime in the past. Too bad I know nothing about stencils and airbrushing. I'd like to look sometime in the near future for how to reverse-engineer their work, or make new ones altogether (I think MPM-4's flames are much more accurate, and would like to use them as the blueprint)

Haha yeah, I'm staying relevant. I love MPM04's flames and if I ever repainted him I'd definitely have to teach myself how to make stencils. I couldn't live with anything less lol. My old ROTF Leader Prime is broken in two places now, so he's a good candidate for learning with.

Why not just print some from Google on stencil paper?

This week I'm going to try and get enough time to repaint all the blue on the UFO trailer to match MPM-04.
I finally got done with the reflective DOT markings and found some correctly coloured Autobot logos, I'd also like to rework the rear bumper/under-ride to better match the film prop by using a spare Leader OP rear part which seems to match. Lights would be ideal, but probably not gonna happen.
Also need to figure a way to get MPM to tow the trailer, buying a KO G1 OP for just the trailer hitch is a waste for me..

I truly wonder how many opportunities could be opened for iterations of Prime's Semi Truck representation had he been officially licensed by Peterbilt in the first place

It's such a shame because it's a really awesome-looking truck. And it's HUGE. Every time I see a truck on the road I remind myself: Prime's Peterbilt dwarfs them all.

Oh man @eltonlin98, you shouldn't have introduced me to that truck forum. Now I'm lost in it lol.

I've actually never been haha, just met it today meanwhile searching for flame stencils

I've always had a soft spot for R/Cs, but in between solid 1/64s (and some niches here and there) and transforming mechs, I haven't really found the time to dive deep in. Of course Traxxas and other R/Cs like Tamiyas got me interested, but since none seem to be as obvious a kit/interchangeable as Xmods anymore, I really don't know where to even start at this point lol. My knowledge on R/Cs is just as vast as the knowledge I have for Semis. If you got the intel on which real model rig this one is like (as I'm trying to make a custom of it), please throw some pointers and intel my way

Looks like a Peterbilt to me. Also looks suspiciously like DOTM Megatron. Hmmm.....

The one pictured dangerously close to my crotch, twice? Yes I did

I posted an early post in @Shin Densetsu's thread asking about if the MPM-4 copy of each individual was flawed or not. I won't find out until about a week later if my copy is good, and everything holds as it should

As far as I can tell, the run starting with 72 stamped on the box fits together fine. Anyone know if the 71's are all flawed or is it just a crap shoot? (Thread is getting too big to sift through)

Shin and the posters observed that 71 was flawed and 72 was rather okay, though a higher number in 71 (example: 71936 vs 71035) did not mean the higher run 719 was better

Since the 71 run, people have miraculously received some copies that tab well
