I predict Dinobot will get a variant release with all of the robot parts painted with the dino mode in mind to be as animal-y as possible to represent the clone from Double Dinobot. No accessories or instructions included.

Twice as expensive.

 

Better yet. They can glue all the transformation relatedness parts together so that it is physically impossible to transform the clone. Makes it more accurate that way  

 

Actually I take back what I said earlier, one accessory. A little piece of flesh for regular Dinobot to pick from his teeth.

They'll jack the price up on the Grimlock redeco, just because of the name.

 

It sure would be nice to see or hear anything on this line. It needs a fresh injection of excitement.

I hadn't considered that possibility.

 

Because there is absolutely no precedent for it...unless it's an exclusive, and those aren't expensive because of what names are attributed to them....I've never seen a Transformer cost more solely becuase it's been repainted as 'more popular' character. Chances are if he get repainted as BW Grimlock it'll be a regular release...seems like the obvious repaint choice to me...and will cost roughly the same as Dinobot.

 

You guys think this is a pretool for megatron. they can just re shell it like cheetor and tigatron

 

They have two drastically different robot modes, cheetor and tigatron share a lot more than basic shape of the beast mode

I would literally laugh myself to death at the apoplectic spasms of the fandom if they really did try to re-tool, re-shell Dinobot into Megatron. The fan-rage would likely implode the entire internet. It would create a black hole of rage that would suck all existence into it and not cease until the outer fringes of the known universe were compressed to oblivion.

On the bright side, I wouldn't have to go to work anymore.
