I don't think he's "too" good when you consider that ROTF Megatron's transformation was so easy that his incredibly simplistic leader toy managed to get it mostly right even though it had like 5 steps and full of electronics. This is just his natural progression when done in a gimmick-less collector line.

It says they include background scene. I wonder if it's for all figures.

I think that actually means the figure number. Like how Black Series Star Wars has the number on the side of the box.

Is it that easy? His cannon arm is a completely different shape to his tank's barrel, his wings have to compeletely disappear and his legs' tank treads are the only really identifiable kibble from the alt-mode; even the visable face on the tank is completely different to his robot-mode's. The most accurate toy was the Voyager which basically wore everything other than the tank treads as a kibble backpack and used the tank barrel as his (non-cannon) arm.

If it's easy then the previous toy designers have REALLY been phoning it in, which is ironic in hindsight considering the pedestal some people put the ROTF line on.

You're probably right. My mistake. They both look fantastic despite what little of them we can see

All I know is that this still confirms Movie edition. Edit: That is unless Hasbro request this removed.

I still think that all figures include background like those 2. I'm guess other figures are like...

Leader Class Grimlock with China Background
Voyager Starscream with Sector 7 Dam or Jet Sky background
Leader Class Blackout with military base background

I never thought in a million years we'd get something like this, and I'm delighted and extremely grateful.

You know. For Brawl toys, There is always difficultly hiding the Barrel. Like the Deluxe figure was on the arm and the Leader Class figure was on the side. But I can see from this figure that it's on the back. However, you do not want to know what I'm thinking about that right now.

Lazerwave has a point. I hope that the barrel on Brawl can be hidden better, because it looks weird in that picture

Its more than likely mistransformed. It could come off or collapse.

If these are another $5 more added to the premier edition price, then im out.

Looking again at the Brawl picture, I noticed that there seems to be some other turret kibble on his fore arms.
So in that case it probably operates on the same basic concept as the original Voyager
With the shoulders clipping onto the side of the torso in robot mode, but only being attached at one point in back to allow for turret rotation, when in tank mode.
Just with the arms becoming the turret wholesale instead of just folding up under a big empty shell
And I suspect it'll borrow the Leader-class's trick of having most of the tank treads and general base area fold up into the lower legs

    I dig.
