Ed's shop is one of a kind, and a real gem in Austin. Its pretty sweet too, that you can bring your family in for a great time, all around. I don't know when i'll be able to go to Austin again, but hopefully the crew from A3U and Ed's crew can have another chance to drink and party again during TFcon again next year. It was pretty fun a few weeks ago to chill with them (no one got any sleep it seems, we're all on 5-hr energy drinks between the booze). But yeah, Ed's customer service skills are daaaaaaaaaaaaaamn awesome.

    I...

...can't believe this figure exists. It's amazing to me. Back when 3rd parties started with the FansProject Ultra Magnus add on kit did anyone think we would get here?

    Amazing.

Not only has Fans Toys outdone themselves but they've outdone Takara by engineering such a figure.

I have zero issues with the backpack. No untabbing when I move the arms.

I love BBTS because they've been good to me and I like what they offer but I have no issues going to other vendors if they don't get stuff in. You should really look at some of the others and have a stand by list of people you can go to when this happens IMO. I use BBTS but also TFSource, TCP and Titan One. There are so many others out there that we know are good places through this board (Toy Dojo is another but haven't used them yet) that I don't care who gets my money..who ever gets it in stock first wins! Find someone who has it in stock that you know is a solid company and place an order for it! :)

Those are great photos! I wish but am also glad I don't have a shop like that near me. I'd never be at home for hanging out in their showroom!

Those panels are on a double hinge right? Can they be adjusted to slightly different positions when flipped in where they are supposed to go? If there is a small difference in the positioning of those hinges it might be enough to cause the issue and be so small that it isn't being detected which would explain why some people have no trouble and others can't fix it.

I wasn't confident this would happen back in 2014 when there was first a silhouette teasing Omega when Scoria was still a prototype (when I first became aware of this project as a possibility) years after that kit, but I'm oh so glad it did happen.

You're making me wish I lived within driving distance of Toy Dojo.

And now even more so. I can't even guess how many times I haven't truly been able to tell what I think of a figure until it's in my hands. I need a TF test-drive service.

There's your design, FT. Pay that whoever made that some royalties and get on it!

My terminus came in on Friday. Amazed at how big some parts of him were (that rocket is taller than Feral rex, Ordin, etc...and thicker than their torsos).

Never heard of those batteries, so mine is powerless for now.

Super intuitive transformation. Just feels like it makes sense, not needlessly complicated, as happens with mps sometimes. The legs are a pain though, as that one piece with all the swivels has to be just right to rotate through and sit properly.

Looks impressive, but something seems to be missing. I honestly am not a huge fan of the head in person. Thinking I'm going with blank visor Omega, like the g1 toy.

Great poseability for the most part, but too heavy to lean forward a bit. Tried to experiment with a pose on my shelf (top shelf) and he almost took a dive.

Hasbro could have an easy solution. Get further into the licensing game. License certain third party groups in exchange for a percentage. Hasbro will make certain figures and coordinate another releases won't be duplicated. Meanwhile we get more figures and some of that third party stigma goes away by becoming officially.licensed

Yes, but that would drive up pricing.

And change the figures. Hasbro would likely have requests and requirements for approval.

I have no issues with the backpack. When I have time I might try to mess with it and take some pictures. Maybe I'm doing something that others aren't?

Thanks for that. As I didn't want to shave my plastic bits down I removed them to determine if it was these parts that were causing the back pack issues and you're correct. Without those parts in place the backpack stays firm, however I am now trying to figure out what to do now. My TG has the backpack issue due to those flaps being out of tolerance, and his right elbow ratchet is extremely weak and won't hold his cannon/arm up. Has anyone dealt with FansToys when needing replacement parts for their figure?

I spent 4 hours trying to remedy the backpack issue. The solution was the best and only thing that worked. I hate to mod any figure! I must say I'm disappointed with a few things that I think Ft should offer a fix or better option.

    1. The backpack only stays secure when the flaps with hinges are left out. This may be subjective and may vary. As some say they don't have this issue. Mine does and it's fixed now, but I would rather not have to cut or modify my figure to accomplish that.

    2. As I was fiddling with him last night he did fall backwards. I actually hurt my hand saving him from falling off my kitchen table and maybe breaking something. Yes when you angle his hips outward he does have more stability. But i don't like it because it just looks a bit off or weird to me. He looks like a gangster cholo stance. And to be honest I'm no confident he is stable 100% at any time. When he collapsed it leaned back and then his knees buckled backwards and had I not caught him there is no telling what damage what have been done. Very scary moment. His hips forward and arms down at his side he will lean and is not stable. I don't care what anyone says. It's a issue. From what I can tell the problem is his knees have to much play in the ratchet. I think and reminds me of that silly issues i had with Kfc Ditka. Even with the replacement knees on that it helped, but still was a problem. I think Ft can kill 2 birds with one stone if the can give us stronger knees and not have that ugly Pacman look. Please ft give us a fix. I also think diecast feet might help. All the weight is at the top

    3. Lack of head looking up or down. Imo a figure this big should have that. This and the other 2 problems I think this guy would be pretty much perfect. I have, or had most of ft products and never have I had issues with any like with Terminus. Now I'm not saying I don't like him. Because I do, he still is awesome. But I feel they came up a bit short. But these issues imo can be fixed or improved on. I had really no interest in Dx9 Gabriel. But now I think I'm going to have to see if he may be the better option for a Mp Omega. And if you ask me that is kinda sad for me because i have been so happy with all my Ft products including Telsa. I paid close to $350 of my hard money for this. He is by far the most expensive Figure i have in my Transformers collection. I traveled half across my state of Texas to get him. Overall I'm satisfied and somewhat happy. I have never asked Ft to rectify a issue, but i hope they will with Terminus because if they did. Imo he would be perfect and very hard to beat.
