You can buy metal flake in the same $2 glass containers as the enamel paint. Just add to your desired effect.

    I am using 3ds max.

The only thing I am going to add are the forearm parts. Snap on for this version too, but am working on a Transformable version, but that won't be out for a long while. I am trying to keep it as "OEM" as possible. Basically making it the most simple and easy way I can, just a snap on part.

For future reference, take photos in landscape. This site hates portrait for some reason.

If you're interested, I've worked out a way to get a wider headache rack and the square silver piece on his back that I can share with you. The entire headache rack needs to be redesigned, but it's hardly any different.

Sounds cool. I am trying to stick to the original design though. I want to make it look like Hasbro remolded it. Think of when they remolded ROTF leader to DOTM. It was the abs, the surrounding parts, and forarms.

I would rather leave all the big “fixing” parts to bigger third parties.

I understand. It's basically exactly the same, but with an additional part added on the sides, so if you're interested, let me know!

Just picked up a second copy today. First one had some "issues" I won't get into but not being a stranger to customs, I'm looking forward to painting this guy. I really want to preserve transformation and fix the issues on my flawed copy. Only problem is that it takes me a while to knock one of these customs out.

    Staff edit: off topic

Now that I've been holding onto Hasbro's Prime for roughly 2 months, known problems aside...

Dude has more noticeable paint chipping than my KO Striker that I've been abusing for about a year and a half. (Including being forced to literally chucking it onto the floor due to circumstances.)

Heck even the chrome on the front grill is still spotless. Bootleg magic?

Before I go the eBay route, I am selling a Hasbro MPM Optimus. He is loose, and the box is damaged. The figure is mint with perfect paint, never transformed. Asking $100.

Lol you might get a higher number if he had been transformed (successfully).

Haha. Well with the KO MPM Bumblebee on the way, KO Prime is a no-brainer.

Tracked the bastard all the way to Van Nuys. Thrill of the hunt thanks to @Prime135. One copy remaining

Also MPMs are not on shelves cause according to employees, they are considered high theft items

EDIT: OI IN MY STUPOR OF HAPPINESS I DIDN'T REALIZE HOW CLOSE THIS WAS TO A CROTCH SHOT
