I feel that you kind of have to throw scale out the window once you start entering Citybot+ territory. Omega Supreme seems to be the only one of out of the massive characters that achieves MP scale. He’s big enough to meet the height threshold without getting wonky. At the very least, he comes the closest even if he’s not totally on-point. Still, it’s pretty easy given that he’s the height of MP-scales combiners like Constructor. I use

Can you tell me how? I've tried last week but could not figure out quickly. Also different reviewers doing it differently. Is it from bot to base: turn first and then through the gap or first through the gap and turn after that?
Don't know what the instructions tell neither. I have had no time to look the last couple of days. Thanks.

So I'm trying to figure out why people are having backpack issues. Mine tabs in perfectly and sits great, even when I fiddle with arms and stuff. It doesn't move at all. I have more issues with the hips and getting them balanced so TG doesn't lean to one side than I do with the backpack. I don't know if I just have a good copy or if people don't have things aligned properly.

I will say I did have to go back and preposition things during transformation to get the backpack right. I wonder if people have things slightly misaligned. If we can figure it out maybe we can get some of these figures functioning properly.

I had a similar experience to @Friendross . I had quite a bit of trouble at first but once I realized how things are supposed to turn and stuff it was fairly easy. It took studying the instructions closely and simultaneously working through the leg transformation via trial and error. Once you learn how and why things twist through via a certain alignment it becomes relatively easy.

Mine doesn’t actually come untabbed, it’s just that lower back flap that it attaches to sometimes comes unseated. Not a big deal at all.

I remember there was a time when scale didn’t bother me. This was before I started collecting MPs full-time when my collection was comprised mostly of Classics. Back then, I thought it was kind of cool that Powerglide was ultra class. That’s because I thought a huge lights and sounds plane had more appeal as a toy compared to a scout class plane sans electronics. Or why I was okay with my TRU Reissue Soundwave towering over the Classics Seekers. Fun times.

When moving the ramp part out. Natural tendency is to stop once the ramp gets to it approximate destination. Keep moving it around another quarter turn. This changes the angle the thigh piece comes through the hole allowing clearance.

Practice rotating the thigh part first in open area. Learn the feel of the way it turns

You have to carefully align all the thigh pieces joints to get it to fit into the underside of the calf

Kudos to Eddie at the Dojo. Shipped out parts A and B to me on Friday. Tracking shows they will arrive Monday. Unfortunately I have inventory later this week so I doubt I’ll have much time to mess with it until next weekend. Make no mistake though, he will be free of his box and inspected for sheer awesomeness before then.

Thanks To Ed at Toy Dojo. Got my Terminus. Big boxes and heavy. I was so excited being in his shop. Irene did a great job in place of Ed. 3 hours back home I can't wait.

made a short clip of G1 Omega circling his track inside of FT-20. It was a major pain trying to get everything in shot, lol!

I wonder if there's a way to add a small motorized base under the tank. That way it can go around the tracks in base mode.

But in your hands wouldn't InsectiCons switch sides?

What seems best for me is to rotate the thighs into position first so you can bend them so they are pointing back up into the gap as they are fed through. I know some videos intentionally stopped the track part that folds out in place, but like Friendross said it seems best to keep it going further for more room for the thighs.

Maybe take a couple pictures of what you have on the backpack so people can compare what they have done. Maybe point out anything that seemed important to you.
