How are they going to have the tires for the car and not the bot? I also thought they changed his face too, still looks like their Blaster and Octane faces.

His shoulders are a mess but I now see that his chest diecast piece is backwards/ upside-down.

Other prototype vs TF con pic. The way they left the chest at TF con doesn't leave you with the diecast swingout arms that lock in and cleanup his shoulder area and the chest shape is a bell cow instead of an athletic shape. I feel better now, user error.

You would almost think they do it on purpose with how many times they mis-transform shit at shows. The one place to make a figure stand out and they go out of their way to screw it up. I know the response is things get knocked, people are in a hurry, etc. Excuses in place of why are you even there if you think that is acceptable? Some jackass like us that is going to these shows are people that complain about a millimeter difference, shades of purple, how many angels fit on a pin, etc.

 

You have to keep in mind that the companies themselves aren't at TFCon. In some cases, they send samples to retailers to display, but the main displays are usually just shipped to the con organizers themselves, and they are the ones that set them up. No instructions, and in the case of prototypes, they're not going to start messing with them for risk of breaking stuff.

 

And yet MMC Springer looks correctly transformed and dynamically posed.

Still, it's nothing as hilariously bad as the Eligos test from a few years back!

 

Man, I just can't get over it; this guy looks like a clown. And that stock xtb face is getting ridiculous now. If it weren't for dx9's xl size 'n price I wouldn't have even considered this.

 

What is bugging you guys exactly? He is 99% the Lambor Mold copied and I dare to say this protype is unfinished.

I agree he could use a better facesculpt but Breakdowns face was not exactly something you would not describe as generic IMHO.

 

For once, we can say, the KO is bad, it's better to wait for the original!!!

 

This is an unfinished preview at the current state peeps. The only thing I can say is to improve the face sculpt. The lips are too pronounced and remind me of Apollyon's bubble lips, not good.

I hope they have the balls to get past the foaming mouth craze with the 100% cartoon accuracy and give it some more detailing and colouring. Those feet would be better in a silver me thinks and the chest and leg area could use a few more colours.
