Last I saw, the mods on the official forums have said that there should be some kind of exchange value for the left-over chips. Didn't know what, yet.

i like the design of Galvatron, all his specials looks pretty damn good too. But what's up with that canon sound, sounds like a pea shooter and why can't they just reuse that awesome fusion canon sound from the Cartoon.

 

Dinobot looks real weird... his hands and helmet are really weird...
But if this means POTP Dinobot I will still buy.

 

Those people who said he was OG Megatron seem to be correct.

I was not familiar with the Combiner Wars design, which clearly matches the silhouette. The haziness on the over the right shoulder makes it seem more like a spike, when it's actually a round barrel shape.

Oh well.  

 

Finally got Galvatron and started upgrading the hell out of him!  

 

I got him too. 3* Galvatron to be exact! I doubt I'll unlock his signature, but I'm sure a high numbered Galvatron is still as good. The chips were the best way to get him. What's weird is that there's a 10 day purchase limit to him and he's still got 12 left. Is it possible to get him twice with the chips?

Apparently the new deal of the day are these "signature unlocks". For 500 cubes you could unlock your characters signiture ability without duplicates. Sounds like a deal, but how much do you want to bet its for people who already have their signitures unlocked at least once?

 

it's not really a deal since it's only for 3 stars, the 4 star sig unlock going to cost you an addition 2600 energon and on top of that the class you are getting is random.
And no you can only get the 3 star and 4 star version of the feature bot once. almost everyone in my alliance have left over chips and hopefully Kabam will convert them to something useful later.

Also, if you have a decent roster of bots, getting 1% on all the feature bots arena, doing raids on the feature bots raid week, complete all the special missions(for most people expert mode exploration will require some energon especially on the last chapter's hardest path), you will get close to the 100k mark for 4* Galvatron, then you just need to dupe a few bots here and there to reach your goal.

This, obviously requires a lot of time invested.... As always, it's either time or $$ with this type of games.

 

Not possible to buy more than one 3* and one 4* with chips.


Signature Unlock is used to.... unlock the signature ability. If you don't have the bot duped, you can use this to unlock it. If your bot is already duped, you can also use it to add another level to said ability.

You literally described it in your second sentence: 'You can unlock your characters signature ability without duplicates'.

If it was 'only for people who had their signatures unlocked', it would mean they already duplicated their bot...

 

Thing was I didn't know what the setup was when I bought it. Turned out that the unlock is on a freaking slot machine. This means that I can't get the one I want for 3 star Megatron or Galvatron, but I did get it for 3-Star Motormaster. Weeeee...

 

Awaking motormaster's sig has a much higher impact comparing to either Meg or Galvatron

 

Nevermind, I thought you were talking about the signature upgrades for 500 chips in the raid store.

I got the upgrades/awakening things backwards.

 

It's tailored in that the awakening parts can be used by anyone under a certain class. The one I got was for the Brawlers, but I had only one that could be unlocked. There were chances to get one that worked for all characters, but it was like a .1% chance to land on it. Now that the deal is over its doing the 4-stars now and is more expensive.

Yep I've been jipped, and I rightly deserved it for thinking it would be fair. I wouldn't be surprised if a deal came out for you to do it for select classes like a "Demolisher Deal" or a "Tech Signiture Bundle."

 

I totally forgot about using the Combiner Wars body for Megatron. It's the fact that they borrow from the action figures rather than make artistic licences makes it really cheap looking. I mean yes the idea they look like they were from the original cartoon makes some of the fans happy, but I'd rather not they look Woody and Buzz got migrated into Capcom's "Street Fighter" series.

My theory is we might see Tantrum and Kickback as replacements for Sharkticons in later story levels.

 

I desperately need a “Trade Bots” feature! I just missed out on a 3-Star Ultra Magnus, one of the bots I wanted, and ended up with more forge bait.

Sick and tired of getting worthless crap instead of the Bots I want!

Magnus and Soundwave are currently the two highest bots still on my in game want list.

I did get Galvatron and immediately upgraded the hell out of him. He’s currently the most powerful bot I have.
