I agree with your thoughts on mpm figures but this one seems to be a bit too clouded by nostalgia.

After letting it sink in, plus being overly hyped, here are my MPM-05 predictions. Some of these are obvious or rather dumb, but still. Just a few thoughts. 1). Judging by the past two figures, he will have a Tamashii stand port. 2). Die Cast, most likely in the feet, lower halves of thighs, inside the torse somewhere, and maybe in the arms somewhere. 3). The head paint is obviously wrong, maybe the Hasbro version will be painted like this, where as the Takara version will probably have a more correct head paint scheme, like MPM-04, and maybe the pail blue or something else will be slightly different. 4). I can’t really explain it, but I can see how most of it will Transform, mostly the arms. The push gaurd just flips down into the chest for robot mode. Cool touch to hide it. 5). Wait! Just looked at the image. Found where the die cast is. It is the medium dark colored grey. The mid thigh swivel splits it. The bottom half of the thighs are the die cast. There is no color coding on those die cast parts, the shoulder parts are also metal, and maybe the core of the feet. Maybe the dark grey parts of the hands and lower torso asseblies/abs. 6). The parts hanging out of the back bumper are the heels, his feet basically. 7). Looking at the weapon diagram, you can kind of see how the hand folds up. Pretty cool. 8). The bottom of the chest is real, for sure, the hood air extractors might be foux, but oh well. 9). The thing that makes him look “off” like some people say, is his shoulder width being kind of narrow. Might look better in hand.
I wouldn't call that part "faux" totally since still comes from the same section. Spoiler: spoiler that's how you're doing a chest in a proper way! MPM PRIME!
Do it when i say something that hurts you so much. Yet i'm still heeeeereeee. It wouldn't be a surprise if that voyager orime had better proportions and vehicle than the MPM one. Who other figure had horrible hip joints and came out like 2 months ago yet it was still praised by some??? mmmm.
What is the current state of your MPM-4? Yes. I really hope so. With ROTF Prime's size, a to-scale Blackout seemed pretty impossible, but in the MPM scale it seems a tad bit more likely. I'm very confident in our chances of getting Bonecrusher, though.

Tbh I think you are gonna have to buy them to juge them in person. I mean some guy in his thirties must have more money than a poor16-year-old virgin with Aspergers whose money is social security that gets used up by his parents for dumb shit like drugs.
