Apparently deluxe first edition prime megatron has a sleeker alt mode configuration than the standard one- does anyone know anything about this or have pics?

 

Is there a standard way spark chambers look? It looks like a face to me, haha

IIRC, the instructions don't have you split his legs and fold out his wings. He looks sort of like a hover tank when that is skipped.

 

Sorry if this is already known and documented, Titans return Overlord has another neck joint that let's him look up slightly, Not sure why he has it, and Sky shadow does not have it btw, I checked

I'm quite surprised that, at least in here as far as I can tell, no one has pointed out you can give her jet mode guns/missile launchers by pegging her swords in the opposite direction to the instructions, seems a daft feature not to document officially due to the obvious warhead-ish pommels on the sword handles!
So much more practical than wingblades!

on TR Overlord in robot mode, you can use the joint that's used for base mode to give him a lot of backwards motion. the best part is that the inner "spine" was molded with missile pods!

 

yeah I been thinking of picking them out with a silver paint pen ... when we play I have him lean back and shoot at autobots with those a lot and it would look better if they were picked out in color.

 

Finally got an official MP-10 yesterday, and while I was playing around with it, I noticed that the trailer's side "control panels" had folding seats.



Now, I'm sure I'm not the first to see this (I've owned YOTH since it's release and never noticed this), but I am curious if anyone found a reason for this. I'm assuming the left seat back (next to YOTH cannon) is for those with a spare G1 fuel hose, but the right one looks like it has a thin groove in place to hold something too.

 

well the original had spots for diaclone guys. grimlock has a similar thing where a seat folds out in his back.

Yes, the seats are there for Spike to interact with. What he's wondering is why do they fold down?

Now, I believe one of them folds down to make room for storing his energon axe, though I'm not sure about the one on the other side.

 

Hmm I just checked, nope, not for the axe. The one with the round hole is definitely puzzling. They wouldn't put in two moving parts for now reason. I love mysteries like this is figures that are widely owned and have been around for years.

they probably fold down so they don't bump into anything when closed up. or to just fold down when not in use.

 

I realize that part. I meant that I hadn't known about the fact that the seats could fold down, and was curious if there was a purpose for them. (Did the Takara releases have added accessories or directions for these seats?) I didn't know they could fold until I opened my new MP-10's trailer and one had already been folded.


Like I had said, I'm assuming the red circle is meant for something similar to G1's fuel hose, but the grooved part inside the black circle makes me feel like it was meant for SOMETHING, I just don't know what.

Could be they meant to include hoses then just didn't for whatever reason.

Im not sure if the takara one mentions the seats mine is thr hasbro one. Could be they just fold when not in use. Might just be an extra thing for no reason
