If BB does well with both critics and in the box office, then Travis could potentially take over for Transformers 6. I don't think Bay will return, if Travis wins the public with BB. Paramount will use this oppertunity to ''redeem'' themselves from Bayhem. Agreed?

I've actually wondered about that, but if they truly intend on releasing the next Transformers movie after in 2018 they will have to start filming before the BB movie is release.

    We'll see.

But I really don't think critical success with come to these films, no matter how much they strive for that goal.

It's a bit too early to judge but I do feel it will be a success for many reasons

...I really honestly don't want the Bee movie to do well. It seems to be suffocating in G1 fanservice, which already bugs me, but then that's just gonna reinforce the fallacy that only G1 and nostalgia sells in Transformers, and we'll never get anything new and interesting.

I hope Bay won't return soon. He seriously needs to take a break.

Heh, R2-Bee2: A Transformers Story being a critical success is about as likely as Transformers actually being real and coming to Earth, so it's moot to even wonder. It won't happen. It can't happen. Different director or not, critics (and most of the general populous) aren't suddenly going to give a 6th attempt a shot after 10+ years of Bay's nonsense. And the hilarious joke of D-List "star power" in this thing isn't going to do it any favors either.

I don't expect them to give an A.. it'd be enough for me, if they give the movie a B-, 3/5 stars, or just 7.0

I hope he won't take much parts in direction. If he only give advice on action scenes, but not in story development, it'd be great.

Paramount will never be able to redeem the films, without first rebooting.

I still don't see why you're in the movie forum and no there is not and won't be a reboot anytime soon if you don't like it don't watch the movie leave the movie fans be happy and not with your toxic vibes on it

I'm guessing just action scenes but not the story they gave Travis knight freedom

Let someone else develop the story and character. Bay's only good when directing the action scenes

Maybe bay is giving ideas for action scenes but for story development it's pretty much on Travis knight I think he could of changed some parts of the script don't directors do that sometimes

So you're saying you'd rather they continue the streak of utter garbage, mocked across the world as being the standard of mindless explosions and action and little to no plot, as opposed to cutting the shit and starting again with an actual idea on how to make films where the bad guys aren't slaughtered almost to a man every single film?

Not to mention Paramount is in a very bad spot right now, having lost shitloads of money on TF5 as well as every other major blockbuster they've put out this year so far. It may end up Paramount goes belly-up before the Transformers franchise is complete, and in THAT case, whoever picks up the franchise is not going to continue this shitty plotline. They'll just start over because then that eliminates rights issues. And because starting over is the only way this entire franchise ever survived the 1990s. History is repeating itself because the films won't reboot.

And it’s simple if you don’t like the movies then don’t watch them stick to g1 comics cartoon or games cause nobody is forcing you to watch these movies you’re the one choosing

Just a tip: some bare basic literacy, grammar, and sentence structure would infinitely help get across whatever points you're seemingly trying to make.

Travis Knight is an acclaimed director of Kubo animated movie. Let's hope BB is on the right hand then..
