Oh he definitely is too big for Skids. I just wanted to see how big. LOL :D  I've spent the past couple of years compiling a fairly good sized Lost Light crew but seeing has how most 3rd Party offerings are voager scale, all my deluxe figures are obsolete.

It is kind of funny how the deluxes are being obsolete yet the legends/scouts fit slightly better

That shot with Drift looks perfect. Glad he isn't too tall.
Still not sure if I'll pick him up, though. I like the look of the figure, but some of these comments are putting me off. (Plus, I have faith Maketoys will give me Cross Dimension Rodimus at some point, so I'd rather hold out for that. I really only need one Rodimus).

The shot with Swerve and Tailgate really hammers home that he's slightly too big, they should be around waist height. Somewhere between Deluxe and Voyager would've been perfect.

the unfortunate part is really this. as good as he is and as much as you can fudge with the legs to mess with the height he's still too big..

i've noticed this is a terrible trend with 3p. seems like they CAN'T make anything deluxe scaled. they can do legends scale. they can do voyager and above. but when they try deluxe scale it's a mess. their overengineering seems to fall short when the figure is between 4 and 7 inches. for whatever reason they can't seem to make anything that size.

which is a shame...because if they do a nautica she'll be out of scale with all the other LL figures hastak has released. which i assume makes up most IDW collectors collections at this point.

I'm 99% sure that is the KO oversized Drift and not the Hasbro Drift.

Ah, yeah, you're right. Looking back at other size comparison shots, there's no way that's a Deluxe.

    Amen to that.

Got mine in today. The arms were scary squeaky tight. But some WD40 took care of it. A lot of frustratingly tight parts at first. And getting everything to fit and tab just right for car mode was rough. But after that first time and the lube up. It was smooth sailing. Definitely more satisfied with this than I am Calidus.
But I've got the arms disassembled and ready for some yellow paint for the finishing touches.

Indeed. I hope they can improve in this area for the lost light color version and Nautica.

I didn't think Overclocking had any squeaky issues. But yeah. I'm definitely looking forward to future releases from this company.

Received mine yesterday from TCP and WOW he's one handsome looking bot. SXS totally nailed Milne's art. Painted his eyes blue and added a wash to his mouth to bring out the details a bit more.

Looks grand. Comments on the joints and whatever else on your copy? I can’t get my hands on my copy until I go back home from college; so I can’t check mine’s quality until the end of next month..

I'm in exactly the same boat, it's a real struggle knowing he's waiting at home! :D

I've never painted a figure before. Can you give me some tips on the process for the eyes?
