Checked 1 near my area. Can confirm the 2-5 was referring to TR Deluxes and not these guys. Bummer  

 

I had to pick up some first aid supplies at the local Walgreens anyway, so I checked and they only had one Twinferno, one Triggerhappy, and one Cyber Battalion BB figure.

But I went ahead and bookmarked that Walgreens.com page just in case they do pop up available online there like Brainstorm did.

 

I'm thinking though that many stores will just go ahead and put them out if they have the space, which is how they handled the latest Marvel stuff. Many Walgreens have a secondary aisle or location already in place for toy overflow from last month's reset so they can flex more toys out rather than keep a whole bunch in the back.

Also from all indication the Clones will be like Brainstorm and share the space with the regular Deluxes, and as of the last reset Walgreens has already moved the TF Deluxes from a peg hook to a lower shelf space in what appears to be anticipation for the Clones' packaging (which are boxes that would easily sit on shelves like the Cyber Battalion guys).

 

Man I hate Walgreen's......

 

They're not perfect, but I'd still take them over Hasbro Toy Shop or Toys R Us any day of the week.

 

I was wondering when these will start showing up.  I was lucky to stumble upon the Slugslinger wave at the local Walmart.  They had 2 and I bought one.  I live in NM so they should be showing up now.

 

Just went to the Walgreens nearby. Their Christmas aisle is being set up - lots of stuff, all still in boxes, including exclusives like the Star Wars Black 6" Ghost of Obi-Wan. No sign of the Clones 2-pack though. I'll check back tomorrow.

TRU have had their issues. Whatever year Bombshell came out was the last time I bought a figure from TRU at retail until this year. Now this year I've only been collecting TF Figures from Target and TRU. The Wal-Mart's in my area have been been worse than K-Mart this year!

So it's selective. I've only used Walgreen's online site once and that was for Brainstorm which you have no choice since it was an exclusive. HTS takes forever to release Hasbro figures plus every time they update their site it gets harder to find Generations TF's. But I still can count more good experiences with HTS than I do with speaking with Walgreen Managers who don't know they even carry exclusive TF figures, that bring more consumers their way. So I don't hate HTS as much as I just haven't had need of them.

I hate my experiences at Walgreen's, plus the prices for deluxe's there are a turn off.

 

Again, they are not actually in stores. The quantities they show are all the old stuff. They all have the same listing to them. Hardhead is the same as a clone box to them.

 

I agree with this 100%. So far Walgreens exclusives have been much easier to find than HTS or TRU exclusives ever were.

In the last year, I've probably been in Walgreens stores more than I ever have. Plus with their commitment to lower prices, I've found alot of great deals on other non-toy related things as well.

 

Yes seriously.

Between horribly slow webpages (especially during convention time or when doing something simple like using a coupon), time it takes to actually get anything in stock, number of times recently to have clicked on "Add to Cart" only for a message to pop up "Sorry this item is actually unavailable", preorders that get over-ordered followed by a "this isn't a cancellation but we don't know when/if we can ever fill your order" e-mails, and in the case of Toys R Us have to drive an hour in a rush because they have one of the worst pick up in store options out there, I would rather just walk into a nearby Walgreens once these come in and pay the $18.

 

So, will Walgreens eventually sell the other set of clones?

 

No they were exclusive to the big box sets
