I want a return of Spiral Zone (slightly updated and re imagined) above and beyond all other toy lines except , perhaps, Starcom. It's a TRAVESTY that this line hasn't been brought back . In my opinion i think Spiral Zone possesses all of the characteristics to make it a successful modern day GI Joe type action figure line without the negative drawbacks the actual Joe line possesses. * A slightly futuristic (i.e. fantasy) military team with body armour , weapons and vehicles. * A lead villain who creates , for lack of better adjective , ZOMBIE (brainwashed) soldiers to fight for him. Built in army builders. * Ethnically diverse team members in both the villainous and heroic groups. It would b best provided in either the Mega Construx or 1/18th scale. Either would work well (although i fear what a 1/18th Spiral Zone line would cost at retail). The Spiral Zone universe is one of the best IP's available to be brought back into the mainstream. SO many fresh ideas could be added o the core of the Spiral Zone universe. It's ...a shame....no one has brought this back yet.
Reissue or remold the Defiant Launch complex under this! I want it but not paying $650 for a yellowed complete but broken set.
Off the top of my head: Sectaurs (with hand puppet insects or don't bother) Exo Squad Xevoz and Stikfas Rambo (particularly the vehicles and windup-activated accessories) Dino Riders (with decent dinosaurs this time) StarCOM GI Joe especially the mini Sigma 6 (the big figures were all right, but those mini-scale figures and vehicles were great) MASK Aliens/Predator (Kenner toyline) What I'm really hoping for is someone who makes a decent toyline with smallish yet articulated figures that can interact with detailed vehicles/accessories at a reasonable price point. If anyone remembers Sigma 6, for example, you had that giant Dragon carrier helicopter/drop ship toy. I'd love to see that scale with Human Alliance scaled transforming vehicles, mechs, vehicles that transform such as Mask, auto-transforming features like Mask or Starcom, etc. Imagine if someone put out an Aliens-inspired toyline where you had 2 inch figures and corresponding-sized vehicles like the APC. Then imagine the APC transformed into a giant Space Marines mech. I don't know about you, but I'd buy that. Tim "toy geek"
I actually have that upstairs in storage. It's such an awesome vehicle and impressive for what it cost originally. I actually got it on clearance for $10. Personally, I want Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors. It was gimmicky, but easily one of my favorite series from the time period. I still have a number of the vehicles in storage, but would love an updated release.
Breyer does have their own line of Riding Free figures but my TRU doesn't have 'em... they're literally the only store that sells them in my area. >:
I'd like to see a 6" A-Team line done by the Marvel Legends team. It would be very short, though, just the four guys and Amy plus the van. If they were really adventurous, they could possibly stretch it, a little, with some variants and Face's Corvette. If Hasbro took another shot at Indiana Jones in that scale, I'd be in for that as well. What sunk the 4" line was the poor detailing and inconsistent articulation. They did at least half a dozen Indys with only one of them I'd consider good and it was in that last wave or two that was hardly distributed anywhere.
I really want a line of 3 3/4" Star Wars figures that pay homage specifically to the old Kenner figures. I mean Han Solo with black pants, Hoth Leia with the vest zipped shut, Greedo with his weird space jumpsuit, blue Snaggletooth, etc. All figures in the exact same pose as the vintage figures, same colors, 5 POA, but newly detailed sculpts. If these figures had the exact same outfits as the larger scale Galoob A-Team figures then I'm game.
I'd probably put Face in a suit but the others are basically spot on to what they wore in the show and how I picture them.
