Totally did not see that coming. But it is understandable. I mean, Monsters Inc focused on Sully while Monsters University focused on Mike. And then Finding Nemo focused on Marlin and Nemo while Finding Dory focused on Dory.
I guess the movie starting where they left off was the only way they could get Pixar's Luck Charm to fit in the film.
Elastigirl as the main character sounds great, she was one of my favorites from the first. Makes sense too since the first movie was mostly Bob's journey. Pretty excited for this!
Dreamt about the Incredibles 2 last night. It was kind of that Elastigirl was so overprotective she ended up being a villain. Just a dream. I kind of have a thought about the lesson for this Pixar movie will be. I think since this movie focuses on Elastigirl, I think they are telling people to not always rely on male Superheros.
Like putting weight behind her last line from her interview from the first one? As long as it doesn't go SJW on it that would be interesting.
I'd like to see another funny moment with Dash's teacher. Sometimes, I wished they would have a Incredibles series. Just the family living a normal life, while fighting new villains. And I can see them being stalked by their new fan, Rusty.
I remember watching the first trailer for the Incredibles and I actually thought this movie was about a bumbling superhero. I can't wait to see the trailer for The Incredibles 2. Since it's about Elastigirl, if it was like the same trailer, I wouldn't know what bumbling moment she would have.
To say that's a guarantee would be an understatement. Just like how Finding Dory's 1st trailer was with the Good Dinosaur(which also came out in November).
If the trailer was set in the past, I could see some funny stuff happening when she first got her powers and was learning how to use them.
