How the hell do you even search the website, no matter what I enter it comes up bunk

 

Walgreen's search seems to be broken right now. It used to work fine, but pulls up an FAQ page for everything I just tried searching for. Odd.

 

Yeah, about that.... currently the cheapest Ebay listings for Fastclash and Pounce are each around 45 dollars with shipping. Add the Walgreens boxset, and you're paying closer to 110 dollars for both sets. The Takara offerings are clearly the budget choice in comparison - but that's not saying much, since this is just four legends sized figures we're talking about.

 

Finally.

What a kick in the ass after making sure I got my hands on both box sets if it turned out I couldn't find these.

Like most here have already mentioned, I wouldn't run out to my nearest Walgreens just yet, despite the local listings noting it to be in stock.

Same thing happened with Brainstorm: appeared to be in stock at stores but no online availability. Yet, no stores had actually received him (I've been told by Walgreens staff that the number of stock listed is usually what that store will likely be receiving) and eventually he became available for online purchase, anyway (still is). Not to mention, BBTS got their hands on him, also.

 

Yeah, I'm not worried about the Clones 2-pack (yet). I picked up Brainstorm on the Walgreens website, and then saw him 3 times in store after that, so I'm hoping the Clones are as easy to find.

 

True, getting them for the prices I mentioned won't be possible at all times and will probably require some persistence and patience.

I was able to get them in those price ranges, but used Followed Searches to be alerted when new listings came up and grabbed ones that were more reasonably priced.

Right now if you search for "sold listings" of Fastclash, most of the results are $35 or less shipped. There was even a Fastclash+Pounce listing that went for only $50.

Pounce is more pricey and good deals are harder to find, but there were still several sold listings under $40.

 

So it was a few weeks after listing before brainstorm was able to bought on the site?

 

So this has me curious....some of you are saying the 2-5 in stock at store is a place holder and doesn't reflect real stock...and I see a couple stores around me say 2-5 in stock as well.....however, one store says 10+ in stock. I wonder if that's worth a look...

I'm seeing a bunch of 2-5 and one 6-10.

 

There haven't been any reported sightings in store, if there was, I imagine it would have been frontpaged.

I checked my Walgreen's on my way home, none in stock. Online shows 2-5 Clones, 2-5 Brainstorm. Store has exactly one Scourge, nothing else. Looks like I'm gonna wait on the eventual online sale to pick this up.

 

Just called the store and none has it even though it says 2-5 or 10+ in stock

 

My area is showing the same at several stores. One or 2 stores say out of stock but yeah, take the inventory check with a grain of salt.

 

Just wait for in to go in-stock on the website. All our lives will be easier.

 

Same here. All my walgreens are listed 2-5. I hit a few of them, and nothing. 

 

Ok, spoke with a helpful employee here locally. Looked in back and she doesn't think the have them. She looked and apparently their system gets confused when you have partial UPC matches? So, she said the 2-3 were the RID soap bottle dudes they have in stock.

So, might be worth your while to check but it's likely false positives at this point.
