Why not both? Make them factions against each other since still no sign of any Waruders

Anyone who wants the hex bug sets... today they’re doing a Friday the 13th sale (13% off) and it stacks with the code for subscribing to their newsletter (welcome). Sorry so late but I’ve been at work all day and just checked my email.

Now I need a place to set up my Diaclone stuff in the new house :lol

I've been tempted by the dia battles reboot since he came out, but while I think he has an amazing playability with all the different configurations, I also think it costs too much for his size. Fast forward to 2017, and now I'm very tempted by Big Powered, which is more expensive but also much, much bigger. Maybee TOO big, for my limited space....
Sigh, why there are so many wonderful toys around?

I thought the same. But I went ahead and bought Dia battles and was impressed. In hand the only thing that seems so small as to be problematic are the Dia Naut figures. They have a lot of articulation but are really tiny.

Also agree about Big Powered, but I ordered it anyway after seeing how much fun Dia Battles is. I would rather they have done something mid sized - say 12" or so, but I don't know enough about the line to say what the alternatives are.

Gats Blocker and Warudaros were about the same size as Big Powered. Most of the other mechs were closer in size to Dia Battles. The BIG exceptions to that were Great Robot Base and Fortress Robot X, which would be in the neighborhood of Fort Max size in a reboot.

They are amazing but I literally cannot hold the Dianauts. I am like a fucking gorilla trying to do brain surgery with those things.

For some reason I thought they were going to be like the figures from the old Starcom line, which had magnets in the feet too. But I guess they are a lot bigger.

Yeah, the Starcom figs are about 2x the size of the Dianauts.

They are also a lot chunkier in the proportions. Which makes sense given they were really designed for kids.

wha? 2x the size of Dianauts means 1:30-ish...

I always thought Starcom figs are 1:24 scaled, like MASK, Dino-Riders, etc...

Starcom was designed to represent people wearing military grade space suits. This tends to bulk the wearer up.
StarCom also was 1/36 scale. The new Diaclone (V2) series is 1/60 scale.

Anybody else hoping for an add-on set similar to DA-07 that has extra leg pieces? I have two sets of arms, two sets of backs, but only one set of legs.

Yeah it would be great if they did something with just the legs and the torso/head section. Then I'd have enough pieces for two full robots.

Failing that just legs would be good because then you could do a Gerwalk-like mode with the extra back/wings section.

I was going to post a "Gerwalk all the things!" picture, and when I googled it, Maz' "Gerwalk Attack" photo popped up. :)

I haven't taken much more of these out of the box recently, barely have the time with a 5 month old, but I've got my Moonbase DB and a few Powered Suits in a hangar type display. I'll try to get some photos later this week to share. It's nothing spectacular but I'm enjoying the few figures from the line that I have. I won't be buying any more of the expensive ones so I'm going to milk these for all they are worth. :)

I thought that option was posted in the Cosmo Battle's instructions.
