True, but a lot of collectors have not settled for any of those though. A fourth option with "none of the above cuts it" would very much make more people vote, myself included.

Even better, a fifth one that says "TT will kill it, I'm waiting" would be cool to have too.

    ;)

I would love for another 3P company to produce a G1 MP Jazz. FansToys, MMC, DX9, even XTB and BadCube! But I created this thread with the hypothetical assumption that the 3 I've listed are the ONLY 3 options we will have (I'm sure TT will make a Jazz, but not for quite a while). So based on the existing three, IF we had no other options, which would MP collections pick as their ONE MP G1 Jazz? If you don't want any, that's fine. I'll see if I can modify the poll.

EDIT: POLL EDITED. You can also change your vote and pick more than one option.

Downbeat will do for now, until FansToys does one.

I don't expect to ever see an official one due to Porsche, but I would love to be wrong one day.

Partly Coolsville looks kinda off to me (to me, bot mode is more important to get right than alt). Partly because I'd say that the ToyWorld figures I've bought have been ok to good, but never great. Partly because I've yet to be disappointed in MT's Re:Master line (I've got the Visualizers, Gundog, Despotron, and Meteor)

Downbeat is like Sunsurge to me. Sure, they could make a better one but I doubt it would be "I'd love to pay another $100+ for it" better. I don't see me ever replacing it honestly as my collections Jazz.

Only paid $99 for him on TF source. Got free shipping by adding on Sphinx (who is absolutely amazing) and CW Magnus.

J4zz. MT's offering is too plain for my taste.

MakeToys Downbeat is SOOOOO close but it's still not quite definitive. Mainly the rear bumper in car mode, the tiny face and the unpainted grey plastic shins, feet, and weapons. It's close enough though that even if nothing better comes along I feel like I have him knocked.

I have J4ZZ and it does nothing for me although it's admittedly a well-made, solid, good-looking toy. Anyone interested in buying it, or trading it for Coolsville?

Any thoughts on Agent Meister (previously Transform and Rollout Jobs) now that it's close to release? The knees and chest look weird but it's a steal at about $60 AUD (Taobao)

I went with Coolsville for the price, i bought ir for about 45€.

Mt looks better but is not perfect either.

I'm waiting on Takara one and expect to happen something like the thing is going on now with Willis and Gundog...

J4ZZ for me, but then my Optimus Prime is OPEX, and my Megatron is Tyrant, so I may be biased....

Make Toys. It's the most accurate to the animation model of the ones released thus far and probably will only be topped by Takara if they ever get around to it.

Coolsville was too toy accurate to sell me on being Masterpiece while HOVA never really made it to stores and Downbeat was about the only one that evoked cartoon in robot mode, toy in car mode. Pretty much the best of both worlds, for now.

Do I think any of them are perfect? No.

Still holding out for either Hova (depending on reviews) or official. Hell, if the official lacks the real world detailing I'm desperate for I may get both - Hova looks perfect in vehicle mode.

I agree. I've waited this long for Hova. What's a little more? And if TT beats him with an official announcement, then I'll wait even more and go with that.
I realize Downbeat is the best out now, and has been for a while, but he still just looks incomplete to me. As close as I've come, I just couldn't justify pulling the trigger on something I wasn't happy with to begin with. I'm sure Hova might have issues too, but so far he's as perfect looking as any of his predecessors, if not moreso.

MT Jazz with reprolabels has me unconcerned if another/better option is ever made. The biggest flaw is the "fuck it" rear end in alt mode.

I also own the GT J4zz and the TW Jazz (displayed in alt mode). I would probably buy a solid Takara or another good 3P effort if they released it in toy deco and made it overall better than MT's.
