Maybe these things should just stay in Japan then. They will go quite well with their Disney bots, Bear bricks, Hello Kittyformers, and Primes that turn into stupid tech gadgets. For some reason over there geeky looking translates to cool.

It wouldn't be Bayverse Scorponok, it would be Bayverse Scorp. That's a Renegade that becomes a scorpion.

You wound me. One of my first Transformers was the original Han Solo and Chewbacca combiner. And that was the Hasbro-spearheaded version of the Star Wars/Transformers crossover line that went down a weird design route that compromised the robot modes of the figures.

I'm absolutely, 100% positive that the Takara-led line will find people in the West who will snap it up, assuming Hasbro decides to port it over here.

Besides, Star Wars just got revitalized in a huge way. There really isn't a reason to not try to resurrect this line.

    Ah, no. Bring 'em over.

I'm pretty sure there are plenty of Transformers fans who could barely stand the earlier Star Wars-formers who'll want the Takara ones.

As I said in my first original post....I like star wars. Not as a collector, but as a movie fan. I love all 8 star wars movies currently out.

But you wound me when you call these things "transformers" when they are not. They are transformable robots made by the company that also makes transformers. They have nothing to do with the "Transformers" continuity or franchise. They just transform, nothing more nothing less. Just like Disney transformers that are also made by takara.

Maybe they will end up in the west. I cant tell you how many of those those things I saw in the flea market in used toy piles. I honestly believe half of them in existance had the human heads chopped off so the bodies could be used for customs.

So if the Falcon is both Han & Chewie, I hope that the cockpit of the Falcon will stay which ever one of them is the front or the right side of the Falcon it starts out on. Because that was my only issue with the Original Figure.

They can display them with this figure:

Chewbacca Mom gets her own action figure from Hasbro

For the last time, they are officially called "Star Wars: Powered by Transformers." And the "Transformer" brand is so prevalent most people just call shape-shifting robots "Transformers" regardless.

And do you honestly not see the differences between this:

    And this?

Because if not you clearly can't see how much the engineering has improved since the original line.

I love the way you throw in the word "offically" like if it justifies any weird corporate decision that defies 30 years of tradition.

Every 3rd party hater on earth would not let up on the "offical" aspect whenever they tried to downplay those products years ago. They kept calling them "transformable robots" because they were not offical.

Now all of a sudden "transformable robots" are "Transformers" again because some delusional guy in takara corporate didnt learn from history and wants to repeat it.

Im not saying you personally are one of those 3rd party haters, but im so tired of the word "offical" being used when its convenient to justify so many of hastaks biggest fails.

"Tradition" was defied when the franchise was revitalized with Beast Wars.

Not to mention when the original Star Wars X Transformers line came out.

And I say "officially" not as in it's an "official" product, but as in "this is what it's actually called."

    Honestly, some people.

And it wouldn't be Bayverse, it would be by a director renowned for their amazing, deep, oscar-winning, critically acclaimed films, like Steven Spielberg...

Again, I'm sure they understand the difference in engineering, and can see a difference in aesthetic, but the OVERALL look is quite similar, and that's not something that want to see.

No, it would be Bayverse. Vector Prime said that Bay directed the GoBots movies.

Aha, but since the great fragmentation of the multiverse, there are no longer any consistent singularities!
