Opened my order from BBTS. Sharkticon and Sweep 7 are great, I had high expectations for Hot Rod and it blew me away.

Yes, mine had loosey goosey legs (not as bad as TR Kup), but some clear nail polish fixed that; I also tightened up the arms as I had it out anyway. Also, that chest is a scary tight lock in, I can understand concerns about it. But all that said, I absolutely love the figure. This would've been a post TF:TM child me's favorite figure ever, it ticks all the boxes for me. None of the pictures I had seen had prepared me for the in hand color, it's this really red-purple that I like.

I also have zero issues with the Targetmaster, everything works great and it's super tight. I wasn't expecting the detail to be as good as it was, or that there was so much of it, it's a really well sculpted fun little guy.

Can the Targetmasters for Kup/Hot Rod mount on Blurr's shield?

^ Which sets me thinking if the upcoming LG Blurr reissue would have some mods on him. I mean TakaTom could simply add on a 5mm port onto his shield so that we may mount his Targetmaster.  

 

TCP's gotta hurry up and get their orders out.

edit: aaaand I just noticed the defect in my rodimus lip too, it's tiny but it's there. Best day ever.

Dropped on my home 2 days ago. Deformed lips and loose hips. I like it the same.

 

The lips are a widespread problem. Mine has it too. Just going to have to live with it. It's not all that noticeable anyway.

 

Oh boy the minor QC shinnenagans of a highly good quality Takara release..

 

It's okay to admit that they can have issues too, despite some people's cult-like tendency to put TT on a pedestal in all cases.

 

^ True...Nobody can control factory QC 100% making thousands of the same toy/ character.
These guys a're going to have at least 5% of the total batch per output of toys with minor QC issues. Nothing is perfect.

 

I don't see how having 2 of the same hand is minor, that's a major screw up, IDGAF who gives me duplicate parts, Hasbro, Takara, 3p, if they give me duplicate parts they can catch these hands, left and right.

 

Ok. Major QC issues. Youd think these big toy companies would learn from this...
