Has there been any news of the Simba Dickie smaller 1/64ish metal cars first spotted by @Galva Prime ? I'm still waiting for the die-cast Hot Rod car
Transformers Movie Diescast Assortment He’s listed on Wilko’s website Transformers Movie Diescast Assortment, but it just says the assortment is only available at select stores and not online. Asda have the main assortment but not Hot Rod. I’ve emailed Simba-Smoby (now I’ve found their U.K. details) so I’ll see what they say.
Thank you for following up. I hope the guy's not cancelled (or even an exclusive), it looks miles better in sculpt vs. the Jada one And that's where you're dead wrong. The guy you posted looks miles better.
I've still got that one from childhood. He's like a Throttlebot done right, as in he has a pullback motor, and shoulder and waist articulation.
I'm not disagreeing, that chap is one of my favourite third party figures, whereas that "thing" is still sitting on the shop shelf
OH dear that thing looks horrendous. That seriously looks like something Thew would have in one of his bootleg beat downs rather then an officially licensed product.
I thought this was Dickie Toys, not Smoby? I saw these in... uuuh. Smyths? The other day. No, I tell a lie, it was ASDA, I saw these in ASDA, £19.99 as well.
Simba-Smoby and Dickie are both part of the Simba-Dickie Group. I think Simba-Smoby is the UK distributer. Even though the die cast vehicles have Dickie on the front of the packaging, the back says they’re manufactured by Majorette, another of their subsidiaries. Just to confuse everyone lol
Damn right I'm confused... in any case I was looking for the TLK Die Cast 1:64 vehicles, and ASDA had Crosshairs, Bumblebee, Optimus Prime... and Drift? But no Hot Rod. Which is ironic considering ASDA have exclusives on the Hot Rod Legions and Deluxes.
If I'd found him I'd have un-found him pretty quickly. Looks like ko tat. I'm impressed with your B&M's TF stock layout though. In the Great Yarmouth B&M TF stock is scattered randomly along the aisle like they're trying to compete with TF Maxx for which store can have stock placed most like a jumble sale in a hurricane. Grab 'em quick before they all sell out!!
