    Hi,

I am not sure if I replied to this post myself, but I would like to give my own take, opinions and observations about this/Sirtoys. As this might be rather long, I am going to "hide" it within a quote:

I know it can be a pain, but from what I have gathered from eBay, Facebook sales Groups and Alien Express, Paul is much better to deal with than many of the fly-by-night shysters or amateur sellers based in China, He's a native English speaker and although his site could do with a little spit and polish, it works fairly well when you get used to it. He's also based in China, so there are loads of problems when doing business with it, or in it. Below is a link to one ex-pat vlogger who has spent some serious time in China:

    - serpentza

Here's a video about "saving face" in China. I do not think Sirtoys is a scam. The video below is to show you how different it is in China (actually, it's similar to where I live in Japan, sometimes). I really reccomend chacking out more of these vids and I hope Paul does a video one day with him (the vlogger often interviews ex-pats or English speakers on his channel) :

    -

Anyway, I reaccomend burying the hatchet with him and trying to wok out an amicable solution with Paul. If the product arrived broken, then I would agree with you that a replacement should be given. Perhaps you could buy a different product and get Paul to either send you a replacement via that order OR get a voucher off your next order? Anyway, hope this helps.

They're definitely based on Power Rangers Dino Thunder. Not sure if there were official versions made but similar transforming figures were common back when that series aired.

Those look cool. Wouldn't mind seeing more about those myself.

What type of paper are you using inside the cubes? I painted some, but had to get the paint pretty thick to get it to not look ridiculous, thus the light wouldn't show through. I had speculated that something semi-translucent (like paper) inside that was lightly painted would look a lot better, I just never messed with it.

Saw some interesting ko's at Kmart. Most were oversized. Not bad I guess for $5 but that plastic looked pretty bad. 20171017_092203.jpg

Regardless of the OP's particular issue or anything with Sirtoys in particular, US-based fans could really stand to learn to understand the above. We can be very Amero-centrtic and our expectations around commerce, customer-service, what's acceptable, etc. etc. can be very myopic. US-standards of business only apply within US borders.

I posted these a few pages back...they're marginally less terrible than you might fear...but about what you'd expect. Good value for the money, but sad toys :)

That could be true, but I'm sure SirToys has similar standards. However, CHINA doesn't always have such standards. I remember a Japanese-Korean businessman who I once taught. He imported stuff from both China and India for the Japanese market. His frustrations about India, for example, included the following story.

He wanted to import a certain amount of ceramic dinner plates, of a specific (and already seen) size. However, about 3 out of 10 plates were different sizes, so he had to send them back, which caused his customers to wait longer. His Indian suppliers were bemused, as they thought that the "odd discrepancy here and there" would be fine for Indian customers. However, in Japan (and, I'm sure, in our countries) if a customer ordered a dinner plate, then they want it to be just that, and not a bowl, or a plate used for a sandwich, etc.
