Damn re-mold/re-paint priority...  

Still, I wonder if they could have propped the legs up and added some ramps/walls that peg in (for a building look). You drill some 5 mm ports (easy), and then you make some extra wall/ramps with pegs (also easy).   Re-mold reasons aside, I think you could have done more with this toy if you cared deeply enough!

My sdcc fort max has slightly loose hips. Regular and takara is fine and tight

I imagine it will also have new voice clips (possibly newly recorded) from Masterforce.

That’s pretty much my thinking on it. Biggest downside is grant is smaller than god Ginrai (I think) but like I said, between grand max and metroplex I’d rather get Titan metroplex

 

My thinking too. And while I love that grand max is getting this treatment \ release I will stick with my grant .

He is now! It's too bad it's really a lackluster edition in a lot of ways. I appreciate the Pretender effort though, and of course he's wonderfully painted. But the thing barely transforms at all.

When will we know if he even made it to production?

 

Also, if you only have the Hasbro version of Fort Max, it'll come with the Headmasters anime style Cerebros head as opposed to the Sunbow Cerebros head.

Yep. It's for those reasons that it's a no-brainer for me.

My friend, however, has the Legends version and the Hasbro version...and he's a little iffy on yet a third version. I suppose I can see why as all you'd get at that point is new colors, new words you don't really understand coming from the voicebox and a Primemaster shell.

 

For me, I’ve got the hasbro version but got the perfect effect sword and want metroplex by a considerably wider margin
