I usually don't fanboy a lot.... I think I really want to see Soundwave in this movie.

Seriously Soundwave has all the perfect things to fit in the 80s theme. While I'm sure it will be hard to make him a cassette player, I do think he could add a lot with stuff like music and being a formidable and calculating villain.

I do want to see a minion disguised as a mini-cassette too.

Plus it would make some sense considering he was around during the 70s so please... This is a good opportunity.I don't think it's gonna happen....

slightly off topic but any else realize how crazy it is that it took forever to get a Beetle version of Bumblebee in the media and toy form and now with this movie, there are probably going to be a ton on the market?

I wrote this in another thread, but do you think if Barricade is in the film we could get a TCU Version of the Micromaster Team Race Patrol Team from G1 that G1 Barricade was the Leader of.

I would not be opposed to that idea at all. Heck, he doesn't even need to be the villain. It's not like he likes Decepticons either!

 

Well supposedly Bee is going to meet 3 children to go along his adventures (one of them will probably be a young Sir Edmond Burton from TLK) and that the story is supposed to be sad and not be a real action packed film.

 

1. I want this movie to show how Bumblebee lost his voice
2. I want to see many fight scenes (especially with Barricade), not only just final battle
3. I want to see how Bumblebee go to Earth, maybe it could explain why some transformers travel by protoforming and some by space ships (the ark)
4. Less human's screen time pls. I'm okay if they go with very little Transformers if they use it efficiently and effectively

 

So, taking the paintings in Burton's castle at face value, that would mean the following Bots are/were on Earth prior to 2007:

Bee
Roddy
Drift
Ironhide
Hound

Now, I can believe Bee, Roddy and Ironhide being here prior to 2007. It makes zero sense for either Drift or Hound to be here, since they more than likely arrived with/shortly after the Wreckers and Crosshairs.

We also know that Jetfire was there prior to the 2007 film
As were the Knights
That Submarine
Cogman
That Tank (Bulldog?)

Megs was frozen in Ice, so unless it's in a flashback to Cybertron, he's not putting in an appearance
Optimus has not arrived yet. Neither have Ratchet or Jazz.

I'm really hoping that it's mainly just Bee and Barricade, with Bee being the only Autobot. I don't want them to bring in CJ, only to pull a Transformers Prime with him. I also don't want Magnus to be brought in because then WHO THE HELL IS LEADING THE OTHER BOTS!? We know that there are other Bots throughout Bayverse because they keep showing up and leaving. At the end of TLK, Optimus calls all Cybertronians home. Obviously, there's more out there.

Hopefully, they keep it simple and use Cybertronians already established as being here from the previous films.

 

Only 4 TFs are going to appear.
