She turns on the tears as a defence mechanism. You should just retort with 'you should be upset.' She needs to know in no uncertain terms that constant put downs and belittlement are not on.

Take my advice with a pinch of salt BTW. I can be quite opinionated and confrontational and (as demonstrated yesterday) not necessarily (always) correct.

Shit. Those colours work great in alt mode. Not convinced in robot mode but they make that trukk mode shine... darn it.

    werd.
While finally getting round to watching Stranger Things this morning, I sat down with a pen and paper and wrote down the list of deluxes that are 'missing' from TR.
    TWELVE!!!
Twelve frigging bots that would have been perfect at Deluxe size.
Spoilsport, Poitnblank, Crosshairs, Nightbeat, Hosehead, Siren, Fangry, Squeezeplay, Horribull, Repugnus, Joyride, Slapdash.
And that's not even mentioning Apreface, Snapdragon, and Scorponok.
still, if PotP only winds up being five waves then maybe we'll see some of these by like summer 2019?

    BIG SIGH

    Shock & Horror!
Huge News if true, chaps, from a comment replying to an TR Overlord UK query:
I'm taking my pinch of salt but as we draw nearer the Season of Greetings, well, my gut says since Combiner Wars we've been pretty hot on the heels of US release date, and logically from a purely mercenary POV wouldn't new stock in the old line potentially undercut the sales of the new one? So mildly skeptical but, dammit, it makes sense. Horrible, awful sense!

    I detest that PMOP figure.

    I desire Thunder Erebus.

    Thanks so much, Jon!

There are primary schools that don't assign any homework, my daughter was at one very briefly before we left for Iceland.

Haha thanks so much man, really appreciate it!

Sauce? That'd be mayo, ketchup, wholegrain mustard and Worcester sauce mixed for use on burgers. And everything.

Oh you might like these then bud :)

    Sureshot, innit.

Also Cyclonus, Punch Counterpunch, Battletrap, Springer, Landfill, Doubledealer and since they wanted to do Metalhawk, what about Minerva, Ranger, Go Shooter etc etc...

    All the best

No worries, I appreciate that you've taken the trouble to offer some kind of advice and it's not like I've any real concern over how bluntly I state things because I do that on just about everything, it just gets tricky with my Mum as she always throws the "if you don't like it you can leave" line at me knowing full well I'm not in a position to do so.

I wasn't sure about Kup's alt mode from pics but now I've had a play round with it I've got quite fond of it, being able to cover it with Iron Factory weapons helps as whilst I like the Targetmaster concept I'm not overly impressed with how most of them are executed, my favourite one at that scale is the one that came with Universe/Henkei Cyclonus. I can also sit Marvel Legends Baby Groot in the driver's seat so it gets bonus points for that :D

I also really like the transformation as it's so different and forms an incredibly clean looking robot. It's between him and Triggerhappy for my favourite transformation in a line that's done so much to get me enjoying that part of the package again.

As far as the colours go I don't have too much of a preference aside from the Takara one not having the headlights painted yellow as that was one of those little things that kinda bugged me on the TR version as it stood out a bit too much in bot mode. The retooling on the arms is nice enough but the Hasbro arms are OK too, the main selling point for me was the Takara facesculpt which I think looks nicer.

Welp, I've taken the precautionary measure of nabbing a Misfire from ID Toys but sadly neither they or Kapow have any Windblades left that they had since I last had a peek (I was really hoping to bundle her with a Nitro Zeus for Thunderwing, too, darn it!).
Looks like someone will be keeping 'em peeled on Amazon for the other two Wave 5ers!

Additional Bad TF Distribution News, same fellow has stated Broadside is likely the Last Voyager wave we'll see in the UK too!
This is highly unusual when it comes to me jumping early on the Import release of figures!

@bcm77 Sometimes we develop a "go to response" that will net us the benefit of winning an argument, no matter how small or big, with the people closest to us. It's like their "magic button", so to speak. I think you may have identified what your mother has identified as yours, to be honest.

It also worth to note that such situations and openness can be attributed to how your family grew up and how open they can be to today's society; I know of a guy that's from a well-off family, good secure job working in an international organisation, but still has to whisper when talking about foreigners or people of colour, and is very backwards in terms of social issues around gender. It's sometimes hard when the family is "old-fashioned", so to speak, but the children are coming in contact with things that are too new for the family, as appears to be the case with your sister.

Worth bearing in mind as sometimes what we take in as "social difficulties" are a chasm between us and our parents, not necessarily making us social outcasts, but maybe family social outcasts.

Need to find a way to contribute to robot topics now!!!

Thew's Lastest video paen to TFs, like they say, "Go @Large or go home!" ;)

    EDIT:
I'm torn between doing this myself, or waiting to see if either Takara does him with a neat pack-in noggin or he's a Wave-filler in later TOTP.

A cursory look on Amazon US with an experimental cart filling proved I can get t'other two 5ers for £23 a piece (the same price as ID Toys have on their Twin Twist listing on Amazon UK) from a seller fulfilled by Amazon so F*** it (hopefully) nailed on, and that's me done on the essential TR (not counting the body for Thunderwing, that's a different line, innit? Or Grotusque as an Exclusive).
Still want a Shuffler & Repugnus buuut not at more than £7/8 quids a pop.

Also when going through ID Toys listings for the ones I want found they still have the Siege set listed and cheaper than I got 'em - D'OH!

SO who would like to see the Trainbots/Raiden as part of Power Of The Primes?

I would say I am surprised they didn't find their way into the Cpmbiner Wars series, but then they would have needed entirely new moulds, but being six trains I'm wondering if some mutual moulding features might have made it viable.

Are we expecting a Road Caesar from PoTP too, seeing as Jazz could sort of pass for the red F40?

Speaking of Raiden, here are some great pics of a vintage G1 KO set I've always coveted:
