I've had a real shitty few days, just come out of hospital were I was given the very worst news possible.............but thankfully that Dr was wrong.

MP toys r us Sunstorm MIB, complete, never transformed, just displayed in jet mode. £40 + packing + shipping (whatever it costs me).

Fairly tatty g1 doubledealer (with KO powermasters and top half of missile), transforms fine, only the Autobot power master releases mechanism though, complete, £15 inc shipping

Somebody bite this Man's hand off for this. That's an insanely good price on what is not just one of the best robots ever made but one of the best things toto ever made in a factory. It may not have the size of the Hastak entry, but it is a superior Titan in every other direction.

I don't have the funds or anything like the space already owning one but I'm fluffing tempted to have a think about it at that price. Do it somebody before a cunt like Altermore gets wind.

@motorthing: yeah, I know it's a good price and I should probably give @Dobbie first refusal on utopia as this was his (looked unused when I got it) so just selling it for what it cost me!

Edit: just realised having checked back and it looks like I paid more for it than I thought so I nearly sold it for less than I paid! Looks like I paid £220 so amended to reflect this!

 

I can fully understand the need for space and funds, and we both love Diaclone and Big Powered IS going to be awesome no doubts about that, but swap Utopia for Big Powered? You're a stronger man than I am. I hope He goes to a good home.

@Maz - knowing how much Turben floored me in hand I think it might be prudent if I put you on ignore just while you're showcasing Oberon.....nothing personal, just.....for safety reasons. That in-flight pose is gorgeous and by that I mean downright irresponsibly dangerous.  

 

Hmm... I know what you mean. I just looked back at some of the pics of him in base mode with my wst and this does make me have a little wobble on this.



The problem is I don't display him like this; as you say, space is at a premium so having a base set up at all times is not really viable. I'm afraid to say, In bot mode, he has become a bit of a statue.

Glad you're going to be OK and thanks for the offer!  

I've had a bit of luck in my initial search for new stuff to try as it turns out there's a local ferret owner's club that meets just up the road from me (about 20 minutes on the bus if traffic's OK) and it's a location I'm somewhat familiar with so I'm going to drop them a line for some more info and to see when their next meet is.

The only snag I can forsee is my Mum will try and invite herself along and then proceed to do her usual thing where she belittles me at every opportunity and ends up banging on about how much she gets bitten by the ferrets (she really doesn't now they've settled) to anyone who'll listen.

Not telling her where I'm going is the first step but if I end up going more than once it's going to look a bit odd me leaving the house with the ferrets in their travel boxes and not saying anything but I'll cross that bridge when it needs to be crossed, this is about me improving my situation and I'm not letting anyone get in my way.

 

Picked up Perfect Effect Core Magnus the other day as I figured Combiner Wars Ultra Magnus needed his little inner robot and not that thing that IDW says is inside of it.
Great figure - very impressed.
Plastic is thin and feels cheap but the figure overall is awesome.

Emotional abuse sums it up, and I don't think she knows she's doing it half the time.

It's been happening most of my life and whilst not the only thing that contributed to my problems it's undoubtedly a factor that I've only started to really recognise when I noticed her doing similar things with Katie in the last few years before she moved out to go to uni. Even now she's sharing a flat with a guy who seems pretty decent and is doing her own stand up comedy in clubs around Nottingham and Derby she's always saying to me that "I don't think she should be doing that at her age" and I'm like "She's happy for the time being, stop looking for ways to undermine that".

I've tried standing up to her, but all she does is turn on the tears and say she's only joking which usually causes my Dad to step in and stop all conversation about it because he's so stoic about everything I think he's made of stone. Had I been in a financial position to do so I would have got away a long time ago but it's not an option right now so I just have to try and improve my options to escape for a few hours whenever I can.
