So I was fiddling around with TLK hound and found out you can store his shotguns on his back with the jackhammer looking piece he came with. Its purely friction based but I dont feel the parts are getting stressed, you can even put his minigun on one of the kibble ports. Best part of it, its movie accurate.

 

Deluxe Hot Rod's up on Walmart's site right now, though Store Pickup doesn't seem to be an option at this time. Maybe pickup isn't available until Oct. 19?

went there for the walmart transformers world tour. two guys sitting in am SUV, thats it. no product, no bumblebee, no nothing. an embarrassment to the brand. total bust.

I was on the fence when it came to TLK Scorn. Aside from Optimus and Megatron, I generally try to avoid multiples of the same character. No new Hound for me, no matter how good the new one seems. Like Hound, I already had Scorn's AOE incarnation, and liked/like it a whole lot. TLK Scorn had a better chance than TLK Hound. I could always shift AOE Scorn onto the Generations shelves, where he did not have someone sharing his name. Plus, he IS a Dinobot.

I ran into him unexpectedly at Wal-Mart. I was there for other reasons, because lord knows hunting for Transformers there is quite stupid. Maybe it was that novelty that caused me to pick him up. Whatever it was, I'm extremely glad I did. Packing an unusual heft to him (TFWiki says it's due to the solid soft plastic used), an articulated tail, a wrist swivel, ankle tilts, and an incomparable meanness/metal/fantasy vibe, he's an amazing piece that makes his still excellent deluxe incarnation feel kind of declawed. No, AOE Scorn is now Generations Scorn, destined to hang out with the PotP Dinobots. Might as well beat the new incarnation of Slash to the party.

 

Sleeper doors... chromed. Lennox approves.





I might use this as my "MPM Optimus alt mode". It's coming along better than expected.
