Didn't you know? Hasbro listens to us over EVERY bit of data out there, that's why Rescue Bots shelf warmed and was cancelled while Titanium and Alternators are still running. Oh, wait...

Going to reserve judgment, I did it with RID and I ended up loving RID so I may end up liking this. Consider me curious at least.

And giving Windblade a key role is always a win in my book, didn't get to see much of her in RID so I am at least excited to see more of her in Cyberverse.

 

Nice to see Optimus have an emotion instead of looking stoic in the background

I wouldn't mind Windblade popping up so much if they weren't so insistent on using this one specific design for her. This is, like, the 4th separate series she's been in yet she's always this red Kabuki gal with jet wings. Also, I do wish there was more character dynamic between her, Bee, and Optimus if they're going to keep making them a thing. The Decepticons got that interesting Leader-Loyalist-Traitor setup, but the Autobot Trio are all just "Main Character."


Art design... eh. Been through the whole first impression dance countless times already, can't really get worked up either way over them. I am kinda tired of glowy lines now, though.

 

Because fans literally made her and she became well-received. That’s why Windblade gets pushed.

 

I for one CANNOT WAIT to unravel the mysteries of another door-wing-bumblebee transformation.

Please Hasbro, at least TRY to spice up the transformation. I am honestly okay with the design, so long as the path to get to bot form isn't stale. Throw in some interesting steps like Triggerhappy surprised me with, and you'll have a happy customer.

I don't have the PRID BB, so maybe that was a change from the norm, but I am really sick of that silhouette. Animated and CHUG bee's were refreshing.

 

Behold! It is I, literally the only person genuinely excited about the prospect of a new Windblade toy!

 

I like the concept and hope it's executed well. I've enjoyed RiD quite a bit and Cyberverse feels like it might continue with the same light hearted tone.

There\'s an old Transformers tradition where in the series that initially receive the most negative reactions upon announcement end up being the best ones (i.e. Beast Wars and Animated). Given the hate this series is getting within only 24 hours of being announced, it\'s probably going to turn out to be the greatest cartoon ever made.

 

not just you friendo.....as someone that has one of each windblade mold (chug, takara adventure, and TR) as well as the rid legends class windblade i'm looking forward to a good new mold of her, bee, and that optimus

 

listen, I am a fan of Windblade and I am happy she is getting so much exposure but I cannot believe had fans been given a choice to vote for a new character to be made (windblade ) or one of the g1 fembots to be made that they would have NOT vote for the g1 girls first

 

I see some decent potential here. The "memory recovery as a framing device for an anthology-type series" is something pretty new for Transformers, at least in animation.

If I have one concern, it's that the "Rescue Bots-y" visual style makes me wonder if it will use the same Flash-like animation RB did.
