Might have been cheaper to use your own bank's conversion rate? Paypal's is usually pretty bad.

Yes I'm can't wait to replace sunsurge with this guy.

No worries about Jazz, Hound, and Mirage, they will be coming. Along with Insecticons and Refelctor. Takara needs to stop with Bw and Mpm. With Takara doing other lines in the Mp line, unfortunately it's gonna be a while before we get all those I just mentioned. But the light is green on them.

If you like their current direction with the more toon look. You won't be disappointed. Sunstreaker to my eyes looks much better then Sunsurge. I really can't wait.

Disagree- Takara had years to do these characters and didnt budge. They have more people (aka designers) working on the MP line than ever before now and should be able to work on multiple lines at once

Well they ain't and won't. Fact is the G1 Mp line is gonna move slow. With Beast Wars and Bayverse taking up slots. Us G1 guys are shit outta luck. Yes they had enough time, but they didn't move their arse.

I love a lot of 3rd party toys but none of the manufacturers have produced a carbot that comes close to, say, the official Prowl or Wheeljack. Hell, they haven't even matched Tracks! Takara all the way for me when it comes to the long overdue likes of Hound, Mirage, Trailbreaker and Jazz.

I have to agree with you for the most part. But I think imo Spinx is close. I think he beats Tracks slightly. Prowl and the others no. I think Ocular max Trailbreaker and Xtb Hoist are pretty good. But I really think Sunstreaker beats out Sunsurge again as I said before. And Sunsurge is nice, but if anything a fill in. At least for me that's how it goes. But I would say Takara's is very beatable by Ft or maybe Kfc/Xtb.

I love FT when it comes to the larger figures but Willis is too large in vehicle mode and their Hot Rod and Trailbreaker look... Well, 'adequate' for want of a better term. Xtb often look the part but I'm not convinced they feel premium in hand.

Yes Willis is to big. I forgot about him. So far their Trailbreaker looks pretty good. Xtb can be a hit or miss. But I have their Hoist, Eligos, and Andras. Andreas feels premium to me in hand and the other two as well. It's more of a opinion. I don't like Ft Hoodlum, but Takara's Hotrod the whole silly chest isn't better. They both for me come up short.

You know talking about Willis being to big. Makes me hope that Hound from Takara is smaller in altmode. I'm not saying minibot because that's not gonna happen. But I say Hound is or should be between minibot and carbot size. Big ass jeep like Willis looks a bit silly when in alt mode with the other official carbots and Mp10.

Even if I get MP Sunstreaker, Sunsurge won't be going anywhere. Every indication is that MP Sunstreaker's alt mode won't scale with his brother and it's also missing the beautiful chrome that someone as vain as Sunstreaker deserves.

I always saw Hound as half a head shorter than the other cars.

There are things they can do if they make the alt-mode smaller to make the robot mode look right, it's not impossible.

Tak may use the wheels of mp inferno for mp hound but just have to make a longer shock absorber or alike.

I’m not worried. TT employs actual engineers.

I always thought FT makes decent/good large size figures (I have lots), and I think it's what they should always stick with. But as far as carbots, if huge willy is any indication, they simply don't know what they are doing.
