I’m getting inferno purely as custom fodder, need a body for lgex cab headmaster  

 

I just want Inferno to have a proper head.

 

Slag/Slug could use a little more paint to pick out the 'silver' bits from the 'gray' bits, but otherwise I ain't got much to complain about.

Seems like a handful of possibilities here:
- full combiner teams for most Voyagers are planned, but 'mixed' versions are shown to make it easier (from a marketing perspective) to spread the limb bots across two or more waves
- A more free-form approach, with few full teams (Dinobots, Terrorcons), loosely associated partial groups (Inferno/Jazz or Starscream/Dreadwing guys, for example), and some loners who combine with whomever.

I suppose once the full contents of all waves are known, it will be clearer.

 

I wznt the conehead seekers to go along with darkwing and dreadwind, I want a decent ramjet!
As for the autobots, how about ratchet, bluestreak, sideswipe, ooo-ooo and TRACKS!

It's one thing for massive retooling/redecoing to maximize mold use - CW, like it or not, is a perfect example of this - but I still don't think we're going to see incomplete limb sets.

HasTak has the characters and the capacity; what we've seen are fragments of leaks and a handful of early Wave 1 releases.

The simple matter is, failing to get something as simple as 12 Prime Masters completed would invoke fan rage. To support the Prime Masters, a few new Legends, Deluxes, etc., wouldn't be that difficult. (The best example is how well CW Swindle became CW Hound, with precious little eff

 

Reprolabels better come out with another conversion kit to turn Inferno into Fire Convoy. I'll spam all their social media until they do. Then, slap a Hot Spot head painted a darker blue on it and done.

It still hurts that we don't have a RID 2001 Combiner.

 

I\'m not really crazy about that Slug. I\'ll probably still get him for the combiner but the design doesn\'t do it for me. I think it\'s just because the frill is gone.

 

I really really want that RID 2001 Combiner, too. I mean, it'll be like the 15th instance of the Hot Spot/Onslaught mold I'd get, but yeah, I really want that.

Also, yes, I'd love it if Reprolabels did more CW/PotP conversion sets on a slightly quicker timeline so the spare figures are easier to acquire

 

Takara could use the Counterpunch head for something...

 

I'd see Takara making more fembot repaints beyond those we already know about in PotP. After all, there's quite a few fem-bots that were made from Arcee repaints over the years and toylines...

Takara could still try to fill out the "Masquerade." Why the Breakdown mold was repainted as Sunstreaker, not Sideswipe, still surprises me. Jazz is now a CW limb bot... Suppose they could release Windcharger as the upcoming Scout figure... AND a deluxe? It'd be weird though........

 

thats what I am thinking and hoping and I really do think its a realistic possibility that they will do that. I just hope its greenlight and lancer, as that would be amazing to have those 5 from the show finally . Greenlight and lancer I dont think was ever shown to transform either so they could be any vehicle.

I hadn't considered waiting for Takara to tip their hand, but now that y'all have put the idea in my mind, I can't help it.

I'll probably go Hasbro for Terrorcons and Dinobots, but definitely want to see if Takara creates a full team for these other torsos.

 

The frill is still there. The pictures just don't do it any favors. Once you see it in person, it will look A LOT better.

Anyway, since Abonimus looks like he's got a different head than his toy counterpart, my guess is that the art was made before the final version of the product was decided upon (it usually is but not always). They probably didn't want future waves spoiled by the art so they just had them work with what they knew. Chances are we'll get a full set for Elita-1 and Starscream. Inferno on the other hand is a probably (considering Jazz) but we have seen cores without dedicated limbs before. Takara will have the limbs included 'cause they sell everything in giftsets but who knows with Hasbro. Though if you got all of the TFCC and Botcon CW stuff, then you'd have limbs for days!

 

Has an original FunPub head ever found it's way to retail?

 

The counterpunch head was a hasbro tooling like ratchet and reflector

 

I mean: Elita-1, Moonracer, and Nova Star are already there.

Add Dustup/Jumpstart repainted as Arcee/Nightbird.

Inferno looks a lot better than expected. Appreciate the new chest flap and new headsculpt.

Much, much better and glad he's not a straight carbon copy of Hot Spot.

 

I also wouldn't be surprised if they used Moonracer's mold to even put out a better looking Victorion. Can't do much about the Pyra Magna, but the Copter mold is slender enough, and the new Moonracer figure would work very well for at least one of the two IDW-styled Rust Renegades. (Heck, if I had the customizing skills... I'd get two Moonracers myself just to replace Victorion's legs.)

Nightbird already has a head they could slap onto these new fembot figures, too... courtesy of the Victorion/Megempress sets.

They could use the CW Offroad figure again to make Strongarm, as a crossover. She's a big bulky truck anyway, and they let the lack of feminine form slide with the Megempress set anyway...

Elita-1 looks like she's been lifting Prime's trailer to get SWOLE. Guess she's the PotP Scream retool?

Considering TFCC made a Thunderblast repaint with Elita-1, Takara could be funny and repaint THIS into Thunderblast?
