i want this guy really bad but i know it's just computron syndrome, where i want it because it's better than the one on shelves, not because i give a shit about the toy on its own merits. but fuuuck it just makes such a huge difference on this guy

 

Nice pics!! Your pictures are the first that I've seen where the colors look EXACTLY as I had hoped. Especially where you have him standing with Legends Blurr...just wow.

Oh yes. This is a familiar sentiment! For me, it doesn't necessarily have to be better...just different and difficult to obtain! Usually I can keep that feeling under control and be happy with the domestic version but with all of the Takara Targetmasters on pre-order with BBTS, I may be losing that battle.

BTW, UW Computron was worth every damn penny.

I got mine today. I was hoping the lighter blue would be a bit more muted but not a huge deal. I really like the darker blue they used on him quite a bit though. The shoulder remolding makes such a huge difference. Now I just need to find a weapon for him (as I'm not a fan of Targetmasters). Glad I bought him, now I have to wait for Blur (as I cancelled my pre order the first time he was released because I'm dumb).

 

Those damned leg panels are going to mess with me till I break down and fix them.
Grrrr!

 

Aaaaaargh...I was so sure that I would be happy with my Hasbro Kup but this looks so damn good.

 

These Kup and Blurr look so much better than the Hasbro ones!

 

Night and day compared to the Hasbro version for sure.

 

Got mine in today. Glad I skipped the Titans Return version!

 

As I said elsewhere, I'm as close to a Hasbro purist as you can get, only buying Takara products that don't get a US release (Lio Prime, Bat Convoy, Ruination, God Bomber, etc). But this, Scourge, Blurr, and possibly Hot Rod are simply too visually stunning to pass on.

 

What target master is Blur holding? Great review by the way.

If you legitimately want Haywire though he comes with LG51 Twinferno(Doublecross). Guess that's Takara's way of issuing him after the fact

Right on...at first, I was cursing Takara from across a continent and an ocean...but after looking at the gorgeous job they did on their version of Twinferno/Doublecross, I happily placed my preorder.

 

I have to say that the Kup mold is THE BEST in the Titans Return/Takara Legends (Titans Return Molds only) lines.

I know Blurr, Triggerhappy, and Topspin/Twintwist get alot of love but, Kup is better than all of those.

The posable and the kibble-less Bot mode and the unique and surprising transformation to get there (which is fun to do) is absolutely perfect.
