By the time he comes out, Hasbro will have already put out a Hot Rod with an animation chest, overhanging back stuff and an innacurate vehicle mode.

Which really cuts into this guy's market even further

Used to have the picture saved on my computer for quite a while. It even originates in this very thread. It was a fan made ps of a possible Rodimus Prime based upon Hoodlum.

 

 

Please oh please, @dalianjj, do not make Unicron .

There are so many figures FT could do, let's save the time and money that goes into Unicron on 10 smaller sized transformers instead (Jazz/Mirage/Sunstreaker/Ironhide/Blaster/Twin Twist/Blurr/Scourge/Sky Lynx/Brainstorm). Really, any top 10 list is better than one Unicron. Even two combiners (Combaticons/Technobots plz) would be better.

I am a huge fan of the Rodimus fan PS. The idea of him looking like an "older" hoodlum really appeals to me. FT should still get the hoodlum mold right, but when they nail it I'd really like to see Rodimus have a strong resemblance, but still keep his space van transformation.

That being said, I am so ready for koot to drop. Having it this month would be incredible, I'll hold off shipping terminus B until it arrives. Koot and apache so close together is really exciting. Bring it on!

I agree, for me, Unicron is a waste of resources and plastic. If they have to do him, make a decapitated head.

I take it you mean the gap between the plate Hoodlum's head apparently rests on and his "neck"/chest? Never noticed it before. It's not good but not sure how much it bothers me yet, given all the other things I like so much more. Probably too early to say. Maybe it's the sort of thing that needs in-hands intel to decide on. Given that all we've seen so far are protos, it may not even be an issue at final release.

I'm hoping that if this guy does well enough they'll do a better separate mold of Rodimus Prime. I've been saying it for a while now. If they can just do this face sculpt with this darker paint scheme, it'd be on POINT.
