    That was at 12:30 last night and there were only 8 left then. So I'm going to say that Amazon sold out and now it's just 3rd party sellers. I got it for 49.99.

    You can pull 2 separate alt modes out of that thing btw. One being a convincing 2-headed dragon and the other a severely handicapped dragon. Or a sea snake. Sorta.

    Question: he's finally MSRP a few places and I'm tempted, but I saw a customer review of one of the side dragon heads breaking off. Is this an issue or did they just get a bad sample?

    That person basically just ripped it out with out cutting all the plastic ties. Each head is held in by plastic tie just make sure you cut everyone and you'll be fine.

    My own opinion on this figure is… I love it! I'm thinking of getting another one so I can keep one in dragon mode.

    Yes, be very careful to cut all those ties from around the heads. I bought 2 also: one split into Stormreign and Dragonicus, the other is Dragonstorm.

    As always, a totally overblown situation predicated solely on stupidity.

    The little soft plastic dragon heads have that seperate, and very carefully hidden plastic secure ring around it, you really need to get in there with snippers and get at it before even budging the heads out. It's totally fine.

    Having said that, I DID need to give some clear nail polish to the two tabs that tab the rear legs to the torso in dragon mode; those suckers were poppin' out each and every time I tried to pose it.

    ROCK solid now.

    Amazing figure.

    My buddy left this one at my house for me to check out and play with the kids.

    I gotta say..Im pretty Impressed.

    Dragon mode is SERIOUSLY cool looking. Its hard to capture in pics, (I tried and gave up) but the heads are SO nice looking, and they have alot of posability. The top of the dragon looks very nice, and the wings are sturdy, and have enough hinges you can fold them or have them out. This would have benefit from some flame effects like megatrons.

    Bot modes are GOOD. Although Stormreign got the short end of the plastic stick..he feels a bit cheap..but its fine when you realize what he has to do for the dragon mode. Dragonicus looks cool too, and I like the weapons.

    As all have said. these headsculpts are AWESOME.

    The bads...The dragon legs. Dammit..why cant the rear have SOME posability?!?! The front could have been better too. This was almost a perfect dragon.
    The wash. I like the wash color..unfortunatly its not on the whole figures..and really makes the bots look mis matched.

    All in all..Id say its a fair deal for the price.

    I think it is an interesting design, not the best concept out there but interesting. it is really a shame the cheap hollow plastic syndrome spread so fast along all the Transformers lines. Just can not buy it with so cheap materials. Hope a ko company like Weijang improves the model.

    We live in really weird times, I remember the days in wich Hasbro and Takara offered the best quality, and to buy a ko product was even considered something bad for the brand. Right now the cheap hollow plastic syndrome of the official brand is the bad thing affecting the brand, Hasbro and Takara with their low quality are pushing fans to buy ko products wich, surprisingly, are able to offer a better quality.

    Ugh, I got one at TRU the other day, and one of the dragon heads was broken right out of the package. Took it back, and then saw one at Walmart, but now can't bring myself to spend $50+ tax on it. Not sure if it is because I just started messing with Buster Optimus again, or what, but I can't seem to pull the trigger at approximately $55, and I consider myself a movie completionist. Don't know if it was because the movie was so terrible, or that I now have hopes and dreams that they get to a discounter during the holiday season.
