I love Downbeat. Cpl of niggles, his outward thigh movement is on a ratchet and the teeth spacing is annoying and his chest can untab when posing his arms but aesthetically/on a shelf it's cartoon Jazz down to a tee.

Regards TG, I will add I wish he had some downward motion/any kind of neck so he could look down.

 

I'm not sure what others people's copies are like, but I know I did have some trouble aligning the backpack correctly during transformation. It turned out I had mistransformed another part of the torso and it was making the backpack not fit quite right.

I guess I would recommend just playing around to see if maybe the backpack is connecting less well than it should. I'm assuming you probably already had a look at it, but it's worth playing with to see if you can get it in better. If not, it might just be an issue that should be addressed. I'm pretty sure mine is good, but I'll mess with it more to see if the backpack falls off with some rough manipulation.

What version of Warpath is that? He certainly has leaner, more "heroic" proportions than Wardog?

We'll have to wait for FT's Devy in order for FT Omega to have his formidable foe.

 

That's what I'm waiting for. Constructor looks good but if I'm going to spend that kind of money I'd rather have something that I love. Fanstoys has been knocking it out of the park this year. I have all the faith in them to deliver us a perfect solid combining Devastator. Just the wait that will be tough. Especially when constructicons will trickle out at a slow pace at their rate two or three a year. But with their reputation for Diaclone repaints we might get our first Diaclone Devastator!

 

It is likely a couple of years IF FT does a Devy. If its better, Constructor gets sold. If not, he stays.

Constructor is fucking amazing, you are missing out.

 

That's got to be Generations Warpath. The colors look more vibrant than on the one I have, and given TigerBlade's proclivities I'd say he's given it a custom paint job to brighten it up a bit. It's a really good figure but doesn't fit in with MP stuff all that well IMO. Wardog has plenty of issues but he replaced the Generations Warpath in my display. YMMV of course.

I only regret that I will not be able to witness my spouse's face when she takes delivery of the box/boxes from TCP.

I agree 100%. And yes, Constructor is amazing. I just picked him up about a month ago as I went in on GT Gravity Builder and realized I had chosen the wrong Devy for my collection. Given the timeline for a possible FT that hasn’t even been announced, Im content enjoying Constructor.

 

i really want to see one of our resident members paint one up in guardian colors. too bad this guy is soo pricey for that

 

I wonder if FT will do a Guardian Robot/Dark Guardian repaint, especially for those who want to troop build. Some folks would dub such a release "The Divorce Bringer."  

 

I know this thread is about TG, but I'll echo that. Constructor is my favorite third party MP offering ever. The box set is one of the most worthwhile 3P TF purchases anyone can make.

 

Ain't no IFs about FT Devy it is when. We all know that.

 

Giganticus sure looks great posed with all the other MP bots.

To be honest, though, finally seeing them all together kind of makes me wish there were a slightly smaller version of Omega being offered by someone.

 

There's always the G1 version from the 80s if you want smaller.

I love my Constructor merged. I believe FT can nail the bot and alt modes so I'll keep TW as my Devastator and FT as the robots. It'll save me so much time having Devastator fight Omega when I make my comics.

 

Omega is in the county. Set for delivery tomorrow. In the words of Scorpion...
