Since Slipstream originated from Animated so a chibi face would be more appropriate, but an IDW styled one would be cool.

It would be nice if Iron Factory revisited Arcee and Windblade creating new molds to match to fit in with the rest of their line-up. I guess we'll have to see
What they have planned for next year.

I tend to agree with the opinion that the IF seeker mold is too stylised for MP. But what about DX9's seeker mold? That could look rather good

I don't own any of DX9's WIP stuff so I'm not familiar with their Seekers. I think IF's stuff has a lot more flair and pop but the picture you posted looks pretty juicy. Even never having handled them I'd guess these are more articulated than the official ones. :D  But I wonder if, upsized, these would end up being mostly blank ala Howling Meteor?

Split it into a subline. Do a bishoujo girls line, and then keep doing """normal""" stuff.

Yeah, that would be nice; I used to think they only needed to include a second head with the chibi/bishouje figures.
But looking at the seekers and Shockwave I wonder if they have reconsidered the scale of their figures. The bishouje figures and the Blaster mold seem simple compared to the recent releases. A secondary line with simpler articulation and smaller figures for a cheaper price might sell well.

Instead of straight up KOing the molds, I'm thinking more along the lines of copying the transformation and proportions. The colours are great, just add a little more greeble. Surely if they can pull off such a great looking figure at such a tiny scale, MP would be easy?

And DX9 produces figures in both scales. Maybe their legends Seekers are a practice run for producing their own MP versions?

Only 999 being made (doesn’t sound all that limited) according to BBTS. $50, ugh, can’t help but preorder just in case. Hoping they show up cheaper on eBay or from other Chinese sources.

I wouldn't say no, but if they revisited any figure I'd like them to start with Soundwave / Blaster / Perceptor to get them to scale with the rest of the line. I wonder if Windblade's / Arcee's heads come off without damaging the figure - some non-chibi versions would be a cool release to mix and match like they've done with the build-your-own-seeker thing.

Maybe Soundwave's APAC mode from ex-RID. Though it be cool to use Blaster's MTMTE design; though don't remember him ever transforming. Mix and match sounds cool; they kinda already that by including a second Windblade sword with Arcee.

999 would be manufactured worldwide. In terms of RobotKingdom shipping to Canada, I am not sure.

Cool, shipping would be $9 for me so same as BBTS (may be cheaper for some). How easy is it to cancel preorders from ToyDojo?

    From ToyDojo’s website:

Toy Dojo accepts Paypal and all major credit cards: Mastercard, Visa, American Express, and Discover Card. We offer many items for presale months before they are released. Payment for Pre-Order items can be made at the time of purchase or customers can elect to be billed later when items are about to arrive. Once order is received, you will be placed on our Pre-Order list for the item. Items are allocated on a first come first served basis. If for any reason our supply is shortened or cut and are not able to fill your order, your payment, if paid in full, for the item will be fully refunded. We will do our best to fulfill all orders but we are not responsible for any supply shortages or our shipments being cut from our supplier for any reason. Pre-Order item descriptions are based on initial product sheets which we receive and product and color changes can occur between the description release and the actual release date. We will update our listing with any information that we receive but please keep this in mind when ordering.

Customers can elect to be billed later for their pre-orders by selecting the Pre-Order option during Step 4: Order Confirmation. Customers that elect this option will be billed approximately a week before items are scheduled to arrive. Customers are then given 7 days to pay the invoice or they will lose pre-order pricing and allocation for the item. The Pre-Order option is ONLY for customer orders with pre-order items. Orders that do not contain pre-order items, which select Pre-Order option, do not qualify and will be cancelled and deleted.

I'm debating preordering this guy and just going back for the other Seekers eventually, if they do end up doing a G2 Starscream & Ramjet and round out the "core" Seeker redecos I wish to see done. I think I like DX9's Seeker mold a bit better, but if IF is more committed to rounding out the usual suspects, I'll roll with them.

Got my pre-order in at TFSource. Maybe the price will drop a bit before they come in-stock, but not holding my breath.

I think even if they do make any more repaints, 3 original, 1ghost, 3 coneheads, sunstorm, and acid rain will do it for me.
