I think they've (wisely IMHO) skipped him, and just offered Legend Sluggy instead.

It's ID Toys that listed him for £34.99 a pop.

I think they will stick to the Unite Warriors branding but perhaps they won't. I am just keen to buy it but every time I consider buying the Hasbro version a little Computron sounding voice tells me that the probability of Takara doing their own is reasonable.

I'm not gonna lie... there's a hint of a green eyed monster over here. I've always liked Optimal Optimus best out of all his Beast Wars incarnations but with the one I bought back in the day, I stripped the battery hatch screw which meant I never saw it lit. I ended up selling it much later (a good few years ago now) and I have always had a twinge of regret.

It's something I may go back and revisit one day... maybe.

Really glad you are enjoying Soundwave. It was rotting in a box being unloved at my place :(

I nearly took you up on that Soundwave, as at some point I want to try and fix the crappy transformation hinge on my Galaxy Force version, but cannae be buggered right now.

Also look at these two boys!

Nitro Zeus had this ugly lump where a head should be? Very strange. Big yellow dot in the middle too. Anyway, I put it to one side and employed Apeface, my go-to guy.

In all honesty the head I think I want is either Thunderwing (good luck finding one) or Scorponok (if Kapow can get Grotusque in stock). The little ab-claws make it seem like an oddly suitable body for old Scorps.

If the Siege box set turns up okay, I feel my resolve to wait for a sale price Zeus will fail and I'll kave on a Kapow purchase. Especially as I now know I can get my hands on a Mr. Hobby Metallic Green!

I've not transformed him yet. The instructions claim 30+ steps soooo... something for another day. Also Jetfire didn't come with instructions, being from the Revolution box and all, so he'll also be a challenge.

It's been bugging me for ages trying to work it out what is off about TR/LG Kup. Turns out I miss the sleeveless hoodie look of the G1 toy and animation model.

Deffo recommend having a peek on Youtube at some review transforms of Jetfire before attempting, the jet intake and nosecone bit of transformation to and from jet mode can be a bit scary. At least it was for me the first couple of times.

Taking tomorrow night off for some Trypticon action and a few games of snooker in Liverpool.

I would rather sack off the evening and fully indulge in embracing the robosaurus, but them's the breaks. Eh? EH??

Hopefully Big Breaks, eh? Eh? ;)

Actually all the Jetfire talk ended up with me getting him down off the shelf for a quick spin into (frankly exquisite) jet mode & back, and that Intake collapse still scares me. Do make sure you've swizzled his hips around into the totally correct alignment, @Imperator, there's a good chap.

IMG_0326.JPG Does anyone here collect Pokemon cards? I got this with a recent eBay order of a G1 Vortex. I have NO use for it whatsoever so if this is your sort of thing send me a pm and it's yours. Otherwise it's going in the bin. :)

Doubt a charmeleon is worth anything(even postage) bud, they were very common if memory serves.

The price point may just be enough to stop me buying another version of that mould, i.e it’s a good thing.
