My pay checks are too inconsistent and small to do that though. :(

Also, $20 will buy me more toys. :p

I'm really curious how this line will do. I have no nostalgia for these characters but I kind of want to collect them as a funky Cybertronian MP versions. I also think a shelf of Cybertron/Galaxy Force figures won't really look out of place next to my Cross Dimensions shelf.

You know if they follow the usual pattern for Manus, I am going to wait to buy a "Galaxy Noir".

A Galaxy Noir figure would be all kinds of awesome. If I'm not mistaken, Galaxy Force/Cybertron was the only one in the Unicron Trilogy not to receive some sort of Black Convoy/Nemesis Prime during its run. Armada had that deluxe Nemesis Prime and Super-Link had Grand Scourge.

YARP. I already have the original mold and I like it in the Red and Black "Galaxy Force" color scheme, so if I'm going to get this one, I'm waiting for the black repaint, same with Galaxy Meteor.

If they make a Leo Breaker and repaint it to Nemesis Breaker. There are so many possibilities with this figure.

The one thing I loved about cybertron the most is the fact that the toys transform the exact same way that they do in the montages in the cartoon. And galaxy convoy is one of my all time favorite designs for optimus. There's something about a flying firetruck that gets the blood pumping.

    Also, think of black Wingsaber!

You know there is not good reason not to make it so Leobreaker could become the arm of Starscream too.

TIL: Either Cybertron's animation really doesn't hold up nearly as well after 12 years or I was much more easily impressed in 2005.

Damn, how didn't thought in that, nemesis breaker it's the equivalent to a nemesis prime, only the thought of a MT galaxy convoy into a nemesis redeco with nemesis breaker makes my jaw so juicy.

I'm probably crazy, but I think Galaxy Convoy's design also looks great in Nova Prime colors. Sure it's not a sleek space truck, but with some minor design tweaks (on the shoulders/arms), I think it works.

Part of me wants a Star Convoy retool, a crazier part hopes they'll just do a Star Convoy.

I really should watch TF Cybertron again, as it's been a few years since I've last seen it.

I was sorting through some of my belongings in storage today and came across my Leader OP from Cybertron. I took it out and got reacquainted with one of the best OP toys ever made in my opinion.

The first thing that struck me is that I was reminded of how fun the toy is. It's chunky, has heft, is rock solid, and feels "quality". The ratchets at the shoulders, elbows, hips, and knees are satisfyingly strong and have a bit of spring to them, even after all these years. It's just a great toy for kids and collectors alike.

Now despite my positive view of the toy, it certainly would do well with a 3rd party take and by that I mean giving the character design and the toy design a contemporary upgrade. However, I hope that Maketoys doesn't go too overboard with the engineering bells and whistles with Galaxy Manus.

Much like Sixshot, I think that a 3rd party take on Cybertron OP/Galaxy Force Convoy can retain the foundation of the original toy's design while offering an updated/upgraded toy incarnation.

I hope they improve so much the head, pretty unpopular opinion right here, but as much as i love the origina toy and i consider it still better than most of the TFs today, it has one of the ugliest head sculpts ever (more if you had the black one who has the unpainted fake mouth plate)
I also hope they add a panel to hide the head in alt-mode.

looking at the sketch I'd say that's a given. It looks like they have gone for the THS-01 figure design and that was almost screen accurate

i really like the proportions of the regular mode here..the regular one (which i love) looks stumpy unless he's armored up

also, my personal opinion on scale...i'd like his super mode as tall as their starscream and megatron and their regular unarmored mode a few inches shorter to reflect the show.

but the smaller bot doesnt' need to be mp scale.d..not everything needs to be mp scaled from the get go....

I want the MP Scale. If were going to scale him with Starscream he should be as tall as SS in his normal mode and Super Mode should give him quite the boost in size. Megatron should be quite large as well. I plan to follow the whole line in with MakeToys and their Unicron Trilogy figures. Please give us proper scale!
