Straightforward repaint of MP Ramjet. Only mod done was to permanently glue the rotating engines with the engines exposed. Client wanted them always visible, and the decals went right over the hinges anyway.

Decals were all custom made. G2 'Con logos are the same as the G1 styled ones I made for the other seekers: Silver painted decal paper, topped with a 'Con logo printed on clear decal paper.

Purple and turquoise are custom mixes of Tamiya and Model Master. Both have a slight metallic flake, the purple more so. Semi-gloss black was used for the wings and torso, with some Silver highlights.

 

I swore I was done with the MP11 mold but if Takara puts out anything close to what you pulled off @Jarrod I'm in.

 

Oh my god this thing just DESTROYS all of my "yes!" buttons!    

 

Holy crap! That is very nice indeed. Thats all I need, another mp jet to collect if tt ever released him in those colors.

Dude! YES!!!! My first of my Two seekers ever! G2 Ramjet! what? done repainting Seekers??? nooo... how much were you charging for something like this? cause i want a G2 Ramjet and G2 Starscream myself lol Especially after seeing this beauty!

 

Can't say as I blame you. They're not the easiest figure to work with. Still, I hope Takara milks the mold and gives us their version soon.

Back when the prospect of an actual iGear G2 Ramjet was being pursued as a comic shop exclusive I was commissioned to make updated replicas of G2 Ramjet's weapons as bonuses. Fuck, that looks amazing! I hope one of the KO companies that is doing Seekers will do a G2 set. G2 would also be a good deco for Takara to restart the Seekers with a new mold.
