Will there be a version of this kit that can go with the red CW Optimus Prime? I've got a spare one left that I'd like to turn into a different character. (Wouldn't mind getting another one for a potential Thunderclash conversion kit, though).

Also, just how much modification of the original figure will the Nova Prime kit require?

This can give you an idea of how much modding was needed for the pretool of this. as for other versions for a different character, there is a godbomber styled version that was in production

Right... you've all been very patient, so I think it's time you were rewarded. By which I mean, "when people were asking to see more the other day, I knew this was coming and had to really bite my tongue." :p

Have a nice, big, shiny promo poster that finally lets you see BOTH combined modes! :D

I shall be uploading a poster for the Necrosis kit to its thread in a second, so keep your eye out for it. :)

YES! Seriously, I realised the kit could do that, laughed about it for like 10 solid minutes, and KNEW I had to make it an official mode. :lol

    Thanks very much! :D

I've always kept around a sealed Battle Core Prime to serve as Nova...an upgrade kit like this would give me reason to open the box.

How much would this kit cost, given a rough estimate?

    Holy mother fucking Moses!

Quick question: does anything about either combined mode require the chest panels to be open (as they are in both images)? I have a preference for closed chest, so just curious

He looks epic. :)  I can also tall he'll be quite a larger combiner too from the looks of it.

    Thanks very much peeps! :D

I don't actually know, to be honest, as that's SND's wheelhouse. Once they're ready to announce the price, we can find out together. :)

The mode on the left, with the wings as hip skirts (which is, incidentally, Lost Warrior Form), has to have the chest open, aye. Reason being, the bits that the wings are attached to grip on to that, to keep it solidly in place against the front of the torso.

The other mode, Angel Of Death Form, is the one where the chest can close up. As I previously mentioned, it's also the mode with the optional partsforming, 'cos I couldn't get the wings into that position without either: 1/ partsforming; 2/ breaking the laws of physics; or 3/ whacking maaaaaaaaany extra monies onto the price. :p

I did want to get at least 3 modes without partsforming, though, so I'm happy with how it's turned out. :)

He's exactly the same height as the Primo Vitalis kit in combined mode. :)

That's looking pretty good so far, but I was wondering if the Primo Dietas set is still happening? (boy I sure hope it has some chromed parts, God Ginrai really needs some imo)

I was guessing the hip skirt one needed them opened like that, although I was wrong on the engineering reason. Oh, well. I'd be using Angel of Death form, anyway (if, you know, I don't leave him as a bad ass stand along figure), so I'm all set!

All I can say at this stage is watch this space. We'll see how well the Nova kits do, and judge from there, I reckon.

Heh, aye, we needed to lock the wing mounts in, in that mode, and the way we've come up with (and when I say "we", I mean "SND", 'cos they figured that one out, gawd bless 'em :)  ) works really well. Angel Of Death was the easier of the two modes in that respect, as the wings just peg into the bot mode hands via 5mm pegs.

...and if you're wondering whether that means the wings can be held in the combiner hands as fecking enormous fan-blade things, well, I've leave that one as a surprise for when you get him out the box. ;)

    Never change. :lol

Ah I see, that makes sense, I hope you can do it though. Now I just have to decide which bot to upgrade with wings, and which without (out of Battle Core and Grand Scourge).
