I also was able to PO SHF Kamen Rider brave lv 50, so it'll a a fun haul. If i move some stuff i might get a 3rd VF-31A because i love the color scheme so much. I only got 2 VF-171 Plus cannon fodders Off topic: I count NINETEEN releases for March 2018 from TWE - isn't that abnormally high? February, for example, only has 14, and surely they won't add anything to that month, right? God I hope they pull a Sayonara no Tsubasa and make a retelling with all new animation and a superior story to the series. Crossing fingers Yoko Kanno came back. One of the things that bugs me the most about the massively wasted potential of Delta (and something that I hold out faint hope is rectified in the movie version) is that: A. the main character is established to be a skillful battroid pilot with an unconventional, yet visually entertaining style and B. the antagonists are classically trained swordsmen, both hand to hand and piloting their battroids, leading to point C: How the hell did they not have a badass mecha fight between a dual-knife-wielding, breakdancing kid in a VF-31 and a stoic, genius fencer in an Sv-262? Honestly I don't even care how much handwaving they'd have to do to justify it, I just want to see it on screen. Of course, I'm also the kind of guy that would love to see some future series's story to center around a Zentradi hip-hop group so it might just be that my ideas for what makes Macross fun might be somewhat off-kilter.
If they can replicate your idea in the new movie I'd clap and cheer. They really should have brought out the 262 swords MUCH earlier. They were aerial knights and they saved the swords for the final episode? NOOO!!!! I'd also like the huge amount of background characters to either die or get actual screen relevance.
Yeah. Samurai Champloo in Space. That'll be so awesome. However, they will have to hire an actual director and an actual writing team for that. Like Shinichiro Watanabe and his team. Who actually directed Macross Plus and Samurai Champloo...

I want to see Messer and Keith duel on even terms. The only reason Messer lost IMO, was due to turning Var(plus Keith knew the effect of Var and used it against him) and Keith used the Lil Drakens as shields. Meanwhile Keith never turned Var. Wouldn't mind an Armored 31 so long as it looks more cohesive than the regular FAST packs. I don't like the look of the boosters on the wings in Fighter. I prefer them to be more centered(like the VF-19F/S), like mounting over the multipod. Here's what I might think be revealed this month: HI METAL R TV Qrau HI METAL R DYRL? Looks decent so far. Resembles the HI METAL R in Fighter mode(the pilot isn't tiny thank god) while battroid mode resembles Yamato/Arcadia without the priest collar. Not sure if landing gear are retractable or swappable. FAST packs and GPB armor shown at the con. Panel lines are dark and thick so the toys on display resembled Gundams from box advertisements in the 80's/90's. I like more options but these are DOA if MSRP is $100 or over(for unarmored releases). It's great that Oritoy is handling the design, not Toynami. However Toynami has almost always overshot MSRP.
Rewatching sdf macross is quite a delight. It's starting to grow on me as an anime and as a plot. Me likey. Also, did you realize yesterday was minmay's birthday?
